The main atttraction is picking your own strawberries, that are anything but cheap: the price is 18 ringgits / 100 g.

Still I could not help not buying almost 500 g.

except for the strawberries, there are a lot of other very good fresh vegetables, honey (including wild honey), mushrooms etc and of course lots of souveniers, cheap things (cloths, toys etc)

There are also lavander plants, but is a special kind of lavander it has nothing to do with the plants I know in Europe.

there a lots of decorations in shape of a strawberry. It is a kids paradise :)

It was fun picking your own strawberries even though it was more expensive than buying the packed strawberries. It is an experience to go through rows and rows of strawberries and having a choice of picking small or big strawberries. Great place for some snapshots too. After the strawberries, there are rows and rows of souvenir shops selling all kinds of things. Strawberry coffee taste better than it sounds. A touristy place and great fun to bring your friends who come to visit.

Visited the strawberry farm in Feb 2013. Purchased a cup of Strawberry Original Juice that cost RM9.50 which is consider expansive. I feel that I am being cheated as the juice does not really as original as it claim. Somehow it is more like watermelon juice. People, please be careful.

Had so much fun handpicking the strawberries! Though the berries are quite small, it's still worth it. And you can buy what you have picked! There are also quite a lot of shops, and they are placed strategically, meaning, one entrance, and one exit. You have no choice but to walk through all the other shops!

The lavender farm is also quite a nice place!

A must visit!

Travelled to Genting Highlands from 19 -23 Feb 2012.

Now, I realized there is a review corner for this attraction.

I find the farm itself was a theme park of sorts. Apart from the strawberry picking activities and the incessant shouts from the employees at the tourists from tasting at their own free will, the farm was carefully set up to lead tourists to visit almost all points at the farm. If you were looking for a souvenir, you could even find pricey fridge magnets featuring Paris, London, New York etc, which had nothing to do with Genting Highlands or even Malaysia.

Minus:
If you were looking forward to a strawberry farm of a more natural setting, you could be disappointed.

Bonus:
* The walk from the bus stop where you would alight was refreshing, relaxing and very rejuvenating.
* When I was there at that time, it was raining very mildly. I was somehow caught in the rain but I felt the rain water was very pure because that was one of the highest points in the highlands.
