Free shuttle bus from the bus terminal to Chin Swee Cave temple.

Like to clean air and peacful envroiment. Can walk around the little garden with many "lo-han" figures. The vegetarian food there was good too.

A good time to go is in the morning before 11am.

Not usually a fan of visiting temples but this one is certainly worth a visit! Beautifully constructed, grand site, lovely view, perfect temperature & serene ambience. The vegetarian restaurant is wonderful too, better than all the food at the peak IMO. They also offer affordable, basic and clean accommodation (we took a triple room, non-peak rate RM70). 2 free shuttles run here from First World bus bay, the journey is a couple of minutes, one bus every hour at berth #5 at the bus bay, the other is a minivan by Chin Swee Vegetarian Restaurant which runs more regularly, you can take for free if you wish to dine at the restaurant.

From a simple temple, it had grown to a compilation of temples plus hotels plus vegetarian restaurant plus many statutes.

It is quite similar to usual temples but worth pay a visit if you are not rushing some where. If you can walk uphill, you can tour around some statutes too.

Being here, it makes me feel relax. Take some time to worship the chin swee guru and also the Buddha if you are Buddhist or Taoist. A very good change of sight and feeling after you visit the casino and theme park.

I have been to Genting highland numerous times and the disappointment grew with each visit. I see no point in building such stuff like they have at the peak of a mountain. Importance of open air activities, bazars, shops, restaurants become important when we select such a location.
However, then one day on my way back I, finally, decided to check out the temple. "There you go" , is what I said to myself. It is absolutely secluded and peaceful. Strong and cool winds will hit your face and bring joy. There are a number of different points at the temple and even the scenic views are very nice from this place. If it is my choice, I would never visit Genting except the temple, that really explains the importance of this place in that area.
A great place for a solo escape with a book!
