I wan told that this hotel rank higher than the Resort Hotel, therefore I have higher expectation on this hotel. I am totally disappointed!! First, the furniture was old, the room were small even though that's a Premier room. I don't really mind about old furniture, what bothered me the most is the clealinest--dusty carpet and there was so much hair thread all over the shower room!! The toilet bowl has stain, like a public toilet!! I kept on sneezing when I stepped into the room due to the dusty carpet, there were even some sweet plastic wrappers left on the floor!! The HOUSEKEEPING IS DEFINITELY NOT DOING THEIR JOB!! Very small sleeping area, with spacious bathroom, but dirty dirty dirty!!
Check-in took very very long too.
We were so pleased that our home is just one-hour-drive away, we didn't even stay for the night, we check out and went back to home sweet home that evening itself, and told ourselves that we will never ever return to this hotel for the stay!
This hotel is only suitable for gambler who purpose is just to have a short sleep there, as it is very near to casino. also, the hotel can only be booked by member with Silver card and above, with points redemption. Still, not worth you points!!

Genting Highlands, Malaysia: It is a one stop shop of entertainment cum relaxation place. As the clouds touch and go the hotel window, it gives a feeling that we are floating in the clouds. The fine cool breeze that sweeps is refreshing and rejuvenating to the body and soul.
The theme park which is full of mirth and joy is in the hotel premises as well as at a stone's throw distace from the hotel.
The greenery around the road that winds through the mountains is soothing to the tired souls.
Words are not a substitute to describe the surroundings, location of the hotel and lay-out of the hotel. One should go there, stay and experience.

We booked 2 Deluxe Rooms thru Genting website as we were Genting Worldcard members.. Upon check-in, we were being debited a RM400.00 deposit (refundable @ checkout). Please note there are 3 types of rooms available..Deluxe Twin/Premier Twin/Premier King (we were told there isn’t any king beds for Deluxe) On 5th & 6th floors are the Deluxe Rooms, ask for the valley view, otherwise you’il end up with no view. Premier rooms are on the 7th floors onwards. Room was spacious (if you compare to other hotels in Genting, like the FWH), there were 2 queen beds. However it does requires refurbishment – dated decor,worn-out furnitures, stained towels/bedsheets/coffee making cockery.

The big bathroom comes with separated shower & tiny toilet cubicle... from the bathtub you could access to the bedroom by unlocking the sliding windows.
Depending on your purpose in visiting Genting, the hotel location was directly below the casino, further away from the family amusement areas, but they do offers free shuttle services every 15mins to First World Hotel (where there are theme parks & more shopping), as well as to Chin Swee Cave on hourly basis, be sure to queue outside the hotel’s entrance just in front of the valet parking. Nice restaurants around but prices can be more expensive as compared to other places in Malaysia. If gambling isn’t your forte, there is a Starbucks coffeeshop at the lobby with free wifi, relax on a latte and enjoy the cool weather, bring a jacket, it could be windy at times.

Overall i wouldn’t say it was a nice stay, go for the renovated Resort Hotel or Theme Park Hotel for cosy, clean and comfortable rooms with modern furnishings. Check on Genting website for details.
