“Cosy in winter. Rosca and Jamon is a must.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2014

More of a winter type bar, small, warm and cozy. The roscas are very good and the tapa delicia iberica. Good selection of wines. The only thing that lets the place down is the lack of personality behind the bar. The waitresses appear to have told not to smile.

“The best tapas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2014 via mobile

I am a regular traveller to Spain and have have been to different cities. The tapas in this place are amazing. I can't recommend the place enough. I don't know how it was rated 3 dollars on it's price review because it's food is inexpensive. The quality is good, service efficient and they will try and help you translate where needed. Try it!

“This is what Tapas is about!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2014

Guided by Trip Adviser we walked to this restaurant from our La Lina Hotel Opening time is 8:30, which required some standing around on our part, but very well worth the wait. The place, which is immaculate, is tiny with four or five tables and room at the bar. We preferred to sit on stools at the bar and watch the wait staff make the small Tapas portions. Many patrons (most of whom seem to be locals) stand to eat. There is an English menu for those who choose not to close their eyes and point at random at the Spanish version. Every single thing we tried was excellent, How about some blue cheese and sardines? Two glasses of very good Tempranillo and as much as we could eat came to just over 20 Euros for the two of us.

La Chimena was so good we went back for another run at the 67 items on the menu the next night.

Great food, friendly staff, happy local people -- don't miss it!

“fantastic tapas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2014 via mobile

If you are looking for good tapas, look no further than this establishment which was recommended to me by a local. The place was heaving, but it was well worth visiting. Don't go without trying the Iberian pork! I will certainly return next time I am in that part of Europe.
