Good beer and wine.
Food was up to the usual good value.
Lovely log fires and warm welcome from all the staff.
will be there again in the near future, that`s for sure!

Room Tip: Just make sure that you close the window early evening to keep the heat in.

Visited the Hopper Lane Hotel for two nights 9th March, After reading lost of the reviews on the hotel I was expecting it to be nice but as we had only paid a small amount using a groupon deal I expected maybe a lower quality room or to feel like the odd one out as we didn’t pay the going price, Well – The room (Room 1) was lovely twin beds, small TV with free view and free Wi-Fi also enough storage for clothing for the weekend. Shower room was compact but everything you needed (Walls a little thin as I could hear the other room in the shower “So no sing” lol) and we felt very welcomed. The hotel is very nice and is well looked after and managed by the owners and team. I liked the fact that in the bar area music was playing at just the right level – gives the place a nice atmosphere in the evenings, Overall I really really really enjoyed my stay very relaxing – Food was to a good standard as was breakfast, we forgot to take an iron but the hotel quickly provided one for us Thanks everyone for a great stay I will 100% be back again

P.S Dont forget anything you may need - Its a long way to a shop lol

Room Tip: We stayed in room one - people say the traffic noise is bad but i didnt find this to be the case and...

We stayed on Friday 2nd March as a gift from our son. The room was good, the breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was memorable. We soon made friends with both the staff and another couple. As our son lives in Leeds, and our daughter lives in Doncaster we know what to expect from Yorkshire folk. No one let us down. The weather was not too good during our stay, so we have booked to go back in July. Hopefully the weather will be better and the welcome just the same.

Room Tip: I have to say that we were on the front and have booked a room at the rear for our next stay. The A...

Just got home after a weekend chez Joe. We really enjoyed it, the staff were friendly and the food very good, especially the lamb shank and steak and ale pie! Roaring fires, comfortable, friendly ambience, good music, great breakfast and beautiful places to visit, like Otley, Skipton and Harrogate on the doorstep. We didn't want to come home and will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: All the double rooms are the same size, but I believe the twin is larger. The rooms at at the back o...

We stay 1 night on a Groupon deal. Compact but nice warm bedroom, comfy bed, lovely hot shower. Excellent evening meal and a fab breakfast. (compliments to the chef)
Only1 small little grip that green emergancy lighting in the bedroom can keep you awake.
All staff very friendly and would very much tell all my friends and family about this little gem.

just had 2 nights away at the hopper lane hotel, brilliant time. took my dog and he couldnt have been made more welcome. The staff are excellent and can't do enough for you, and it really is a case of JUST ASK cos nothing is too much trouble. Foods very good, we ate there both nights, despite saying we would take trip out to eat,..... why waste good food. Brilliant home cooked breakfast, just the thing to set you up for the day, and yes you can tell the produce is farm reared and local stuff.
The location couldnt be better, twixt otley, skipton, harrogate and close to pateley bridge. we walked th 2 reservoirs opposite the hotel and certainly built up an appetite.
GRUMBLES...... that i cant fit another trip in till may !!

Room Tip: rooms 1 and 3 are dog friendly. rooms on the back are quieter
