“Iberostar Rose Hall Suites Montego Bay”

Went there from May 31 To June 5.
We stayed at about 12 AI Hotels, this was the best one ever. The buffets were the best we ever had, always a great selection of yummy foods. We went to the steak restaurant, my wife had the ribeye and I had the tenderloin steak, they were the tastest we ever had at and all inclusive.
The beach was perfect, plenty of palapas, no problem getting one in the morning, never had to get up early to get one. The staff was friendly, the hotel was spotless, everyone was cleaning all day. The room was very big, the bath had a tub that two prople could get in. It had a rain shower in the ceiling of the shower, very cool.
It was one the the best vacations we ever had.

Room Tip: Get a room with ocean view, ours was room 4426, a great view.

Apple Vacation reps were the worse and especially Taneisha James who seemed as if we were bothering her. She gave us a very unwelcoming answer and sent us on our way, I could have asked one of the Star entertainers and had better service then what apple provided. The restaurants were buffets turned into restaurants which was very strange and cheesy and the food was the same everyday!! No variety at all! Kento the tour guide was awesome and the star entertainment staff was GREAT!! Other than that, the resort could use a bit more music and restaurants that are really restaurants, not made up ones. The swim up bar was not so great and there was no grill near the pool for burgers and snacks unless you walked all the way to the buffet. And no jerk chicken. The resort was huge and I love the privacy of the beach, other than that, my biggest disappointment lies with Apple and the buffets.

Room Tip: Probably one near the elevators to prevent getting lost.

On behalf of the management and staff here at the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites, I would like to thank you for choosing Iberostar as your holiday destination resort and also for posting your comments of your stay with us here on Trip Advisor.

We are pleased to know that while vacationing with us that you enjoyed the entertainment and activities provided by our entertainment staff and the privacy of our beaches as well. It saddens us to hear that you were not pleased with certain aspects of your stay.

In light of this we would like to point out that the only a la carte restaurant used as a lunch buffet is our Aunt Ruby’s Steakhouse. This restaurant on the beach is used as a lunch buffet during the day and provides various grilled foods, burgers and snacks, but is transformed into an a la carte restaurant in the evening for fine dining. With regards to jerk chicken, it is available for lunch at both our lunch buffet restaurants and is served on Jamaica night at the Miranda Hill, our international buffet.

Once again we would like to thank you for choosing Iberostar and we hope that we will be offered the opportunity of hosting you once more.

Thank you MoMo, Omg, VIP tweeter happy feet sweetness stingray china. You made our stay very special and much love from Dave JoJo and Emily. Rodrick keep on smiling and Waylon your drinks are great. If you haven't been at the iberostar rose hall suites you haven't had a really awesome vacation or maybe you just think you have. Greatest vacation in 40 years. A thank you to all the staff you were great. Louisiana is where we're from.

Iberostar,like many other hotels have beautiful beaches and great amenities,however they are leading the pack of hotels in my estimation due to the tremendous employees on staff.

Upon arrival we were greeted by ANDREA. He was very professional and knowledgeable of the hotel. Even though our room was not ready we were directed to the buffet lunch. The service was
exceptional. Waitresses like Dianne, Roseann, Nadine, Leslie-Ann and many more went above and beyond. The food was great! Kirk the egg maker is the best. Please see Marlon for your dinner reservation. Try the GOURMET and the Steakhouse.

Shout out to the bartenders especially REDS.

The rooms are spacious and seems to be sound proof?? Did not hear a sound from out side.
The rooms were clean in a timely manner.MERITA was the best.

I have been to over 12 different hotels in Jamaica. I would rate the Iberostar Suites as one of the best.I hope the employees continue to be the STAR in IBEROSTAR......

I went to the Iberostar Rose Hall for a family wedding. The rooms were generally nice, and the food was generally good. Everything was generally just good. Overall, it was extremely expensive for what they provide.

I would have repeated my stay, but someone in my family left items behind in one of the dresser drawers. In order to get them back, she had to provide a detailed list of what was there (they'll only send the things you list, even though all the things were together in the same drawer), the cost of the items, scan the front and back of her driver's license, the front and back of her credit card, and some form. But that's not all. The cost they quoted for shipping (which we pay for, hence the credit card)? $118 USD. If we don't pay that, we don't get the items back. Absolutely ridiculous. In all the hotels I've ever stayed in, never has anything so ridiculous been required to get our own items back. Normally, you provide a summary of the items, they ask if they should use the address on file and the credit card on file to pay for shipping. Shipping at most (all over the world) has been $50. It's as if they're holding our stuff hostage.

Quadruple check your room to make sure you don't forget anything. If you leave anything behind, they'll try their hardest to steal it from you.

We are extremely delighted to know that you enjoyed the rooms, food and the overall service you experienced while vacationing with us. We are, however, deeply saddened to hear that you may not revisit our resort as you are displeased with the process of shipping the items your family member left behind.

In situations where a guest has left items behind and wish to have them sent to them, we generally use the services of an external courier company or the postal service. The guest is given the option to choose the most suitable method. In this case where the guest selected the services of a courier, they are advised that shipment will attract a cost and required to provide a detailed list and estimated value of the items to be shipped. This is the policy of the courier company. The prices quoted are based on the location that the items are to be shipped to, the height, weight, length and width of the package. Once we are in receipt of the quote it is forwarded to the guest for them to decide whether or not they wish to proceed. In this case the guest gave us their approval to have them shipped to her.

As it pertains to payment for shipping and the shipping address, it is our policy not to keep any of our clients’ credit card information on file. As such we forward an authorization form to them to complete to authorize us to make the charges, and to provide us with a preferred convenient address, which maybe alternative to the one on file.

It is definitely not in our intention to keep any items left behind as we work assiduously to provide the necessary assistance in sending items left behind back to the respective clients. We also keep in contact with the guest, providing them with the tracking information, and verify that they have received the package.

We do hope that despite this isolated incident, that you will consider Iberostar as one of your destination holiday hotels when planning your next vacation. Once again, thank you for choosing Iberostar.

Stayed at rose hall suites from may 18th-24th....room did have a damp feel....but only caused by u leaving the terrace door open.......requested a dehumidifier ... that was the end of that problem..the jacuzzi tub needed some work...we did not use ....it did not look appealing.needs to b redone...and it had brown glue stains.upon expressing our displeasure we were promptly sent a bottle of champagne n fruit.n notified of another room being prepared.we were showed the other room..but it was n the back and it had a king bed...we had our 5 year old with us...we decided to keep our room.#4425.great view.beautiful sunrise & sunsets.the food was good.lots of it....never felt hungry.but it can still use more variety..good chefs good cooks.staff was helpful....some eh....but we all have bad days.the staff at the front desk always had a smile...very helpful....guest services made sure they got what ever we needed..due to our displeasure in the beginning...they are good...bartenders by the pool....my man rodrick will take care of u..cool dude....and so is the rest of the bar tenders make sure u take care of them..star friends omg(all ima say is damn girl)..stingray china.they are great....also our room attendant was excellent ....and nothing was ever touched..the bounds are beautiful .....lazy sucks......I used it once...for 15 minutes.....some adults act like there were on spring break...they were in thier 50's..I'm 33 at times it did not feel like a family hotel..some were a little obnoxious...but that did not stop us...the kids water park not many families knew it existed...it a times where we would b the only ones there for 2hours at a time...he Japanese restaurant was the best then came the steakhouse then the Cajun restaurant...great hotel....would come back just not with my child.......but I will say this my son had a blast........

It all started with the best looking hotel room that I have ever encountered in my vacation trips. It had 2 queen beds, very large bathroom with a large tub & a shower, sitting room, and a large balcony looking directly to ocean. I must admit it was the luxurious hotel. But it lacks services that I expect with this type of hotel. First, the inside of the hotel is not as cool as it should since outside is so humid and you would expect the inside should be much nicer but it felt like 80 F and slightly humid. The food are not as good as if I compare to the Moon Palace in Cancun.
