This was our first time to Jamaica, but not to all inclusive resort. We are 33 with no kids and love to travel. We've been many times to Mexico and had a variety of resorts to compare this to, it met all our expectations and more!

Rooms - Spacious, clean, great closet storage, double sinks, large bathroom. No alarm clock, bring one from home if you need it. Housekeeping was consistent with towel art and turn down service. No complaints. We were on the 4th floor, with a great view, and enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the day unfold.

Grounds - Beautiful, clean, and all flowers in bright bloom for April. The grounds people work so hard daily to make everything crisp and new. The pool surround is swept of sand and mopped every morning for the fresh day ahead. The beach is combed every morning of seaweed and is very inviting.

Beach - We are beach people and really enjoyed the nice long walkable beach. The water right now is as warm as the air. The oceans beautiful greens and blues are so relaxing and look like the postcards. The snorkeling off shore near the rocks is great. We brought our own snorkel gear, and snorkeled every morning. Many starfish, lion fish, puffer fish, barracuda , and large variety of tropical fish. This resort has very convenient snorkeling. We paid to do a snorkeling excursion, and the daily morning snorkeling at the resort was better! A banana from breakfast will attract fish for the kids to see.

Food/Drinks - We were satisfied with the food selection. They are catering to many people and there is something for everyone. We really enjoyed the Beach Reggae Lunch on Monday and Thursday. The jerk pork and chicken were fresh and authentic. The energy of the steel drums, dancing, and blue water as a background, is heavenly. Aunt Ruby's steak house had a great tenderloin and the coconut shrimp at the Cajun was delicious! The drinks were good, many varieties. Beer selection is Red Stripe, Red Stripe Light, and Heineken in the Lobby Bar. Room Service 24 hours, limited menu but nice when you need a little something.

Staff - Very accommodating and warm. The bartenders and servers around the beach and pool are great - always smiling and singing. There is a great vibe all day for whatever you wish to do. The Star Friends - Happy Feet, Mo-Mo-, OMG, Ki-Ki-, everyone....they enjoy their jobs, and you can feel the energy. We have been to many resorts were the "fun staff" are not so fun, and walk around in a daily daze....these guys were high energy day and night. They really make you feel included. I watched as they interacted with the kids, (when no parents were around to put on a show), and it was genuine. They do a great job.

We did a shopping trip to Mo-Bay through the resort for $16 pp, 3 hours. It was good, three different locations and something for everyone. Chukka Tours Zip Lining $91 pp - really fun. The tour guides make it! Also did the Dreamer Catamaran - snorkeling with trip to Margaritaville. The water slide is AMAZING - so fast, so fun!!! My husband and I felt like we were 12 again!

Overall, this is great place for couples and families. If you like adventure, and are open to new foods, and new friends, this resort can be anything you make of it. We will be back to this resort for sure. We were sad to leave paradise behind.

I think the hotel here is wonderful. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and wonderful facilities. The only complaint I can think of is that the they tell you nothing of the resort. Which restaurants you can use, there are some that are not obvious, they do not inform you of the free Kayaking, Sailing, Snorkeling etc. so if you are not aware then you miss out. And the people from Dressel Divers are not very accommodating if you do not buy one of their overpriced excursions.

The Airport in Montego Bay is a disaster. It took over 2 hours to get through immigration. It is a long and winding path, with little air conditioning, too crowded and I actually passed out on the line. Try to travel mid week to avoid the insanity, several folks we spoke with that did had no problem.

On the way home it also took over 90 minutes to check in a single bag with American Airlines. It did however only take 10 minutes to get through security and immigration..

Excellent accomodations and Services - An all inclusive grandiose Buffet. And if you wish, you can make Reservations at various in house Restaurants. Lots of Swim possiabilities - Three Hotel pools, spa, and a seperate pool for children 5yrs and younger. The Beach is located directly behind the hotel with great on the beach service. I really enjoyed those cocktails on the Beach. Especially thet "Jamaican Rum Punch." Water sports are inclusive. And of course the Animation, day and night, is entertaining. There is also a seperate room for smokers located in the Hotel with a wide range of Cuban Cigars you can buy. A Great area to chill if you are a smoker. Iberostar Rose Hall Suites was a pleasurable experience for me and my Family.

Traveled with 40 others to attend a wedding. Hotel is clean, staff was very helpful, drinks were strong, everyone was happy.
The only negative things I can mention are that: the hallways of this hotel are very dark, and I'm not sure why that was. Makes for a dreary feeling. The air conditioning in the rooms worked very well, but in the common areas it seemed to be turned off. The lobby bar is a perfect example. Very warm and uncomfortable. Finally, it would have been nice to have an outdoor bar to gather at in the evenings. You were kind of limited to the inside bars, which was okay, but with the breezes at night, it would have been wonderful to sit outside and enjoy.

Positives are plenty. Food was very good. You never walked away hungry. Entertainment was amazing. Pools were large and clean, grounds were always kept up.
Our view from the room was amazing. The beach was large in comparison to other Carribbean resorts I have been to. The shade huts were phenominal! Plenty to go around. Amenities were great! Room service was speedy.

Overall I give the resort 4 stars! I give the time we had with family and friends at the wedding a solid 5 stars!!!!

We planned my daughters wedding for the first week in April and had 28 people coming for the event. I am in a Regional position with a Hotel company so I understand and am empathetic to the challenges of the wedding coordinator position....but we were all disappointed with the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites wedding coordinator, Nicole [--].
To make it easier on her and to insure details would be organized prior to arrival so we could relax and have fun once got there.....a few weeks prior to arrival we submitted meticulously detailed instructions, event orders, time lines, dinner reservation times, etc.for the wedding/reception and the group events we had planned over the 4 days and I seriously doubt she even looked at it....let alone made any effort to faciliate the Bride's wishes.
We certainly understand mistakes happen and things get overlooked sometimes but it was something major everyday....with no apology offered or attempt to correct. Every encounter with Nicole was unprofessional and absolutely aggravating....so much so that the Bride completely broke down in tears the night before her wedding from shear frustration.
Luckily we had a great, fun, efficient group who made the wedding and reception happen in spite of the wedding coordinator.
Consensus is we would love to come back to Iberostar on vacation....but not for an event. The Star Friends...Kiki, Jukebox, Momo, Happy Feet are so talented and amazing and Klema who had a smile for us every day at the pool Bar kept things fun and interesting all day long. This is a great place to bring your whole family....the Star Friends keep the kids (big & small) entertained from morning till late at night. Such a beautiful property and location and a really great value......Just wouldn't do a wedding considering our experience.
I would have given this hotel a 5 Star rating if not for our experience with Nicole.

My husband and I went here last year and I am just getting around to writing this review. However, we both still remember this vacation like it was yesterday. It was by far our most favorite all inclusive resort we have visited. Just some quick info...

Rooms-we did not have a "ocean front" but every room has a view of the ocean and we were not disappointed. Very, very spacious!

Food-I enjoyed all of the restaurants. I specifically remember the mexican had awesome pork tacos. We weren't able to eat at the japanese b/c it was booked but I heard it was good. Really, you can't go wrong and there are tons of choices since you can visit the beach resort as well. They also had an awesome grill on the beach where they served paella.

Entertainment-Loved loved the group of entertainers! They are too funny. Some of the night shows were a little cheesy but the bar was always open! You must try the Jamaican smile. Also, some bars have better liquor so make sure to ask for it.

Overall it was the best vacation yet. Pay the extra money to go to rose hall suites instead of beach. I didn't feel like we missed out on not going to the grand but I am sure it was amazing too.

This was our seventh trip to Jamaica and our second trip to Iberostar resorts. We have stayed at all inclusive resorts on each trip and this trip was the best. We traveled with our Daughter and Son in law and our three grandsons 13,17 & 19. We all agreed that the food, drink, pool, beach, activities were great but the best part was the Jamaican People. The word is RESPECT.... From the steaks and Jerk chicken at Aunt Ruby's to the Lobster and sea food at the Mexican and Mediteranian Restaurants to the buffet for breakfast and lunch, You never go hungry and enjoy a great meal at each sitting.
We always enjoyed our first cup of coffee in the morning sitting on the balcony from our room. The breakfast buffet always had a large sellection of fresh juices and fruit and a huge selection of breakfast choices made to your satisfaction. Jamaica is a place to relax and slow down. Can't wait till we can return.
