My husband and I just returned from our stay at the Iberostar Grand and were absolutely impressed. The whole experience far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were treated special by everyone we encountered. Our butler, Davion, was the absolute best and made each moment of our trip magical. His was genuine, friendly, and helpful. Although our day butler Kevin was just as gracious, we were not in our room much on his watch. Our days were filled with fun and entertainment. We would not have been as relaxed if it wasn't for Kiki, Mr. Fresh, G-Money, Krazy, and Diva. We looked forward to each day with them and loved their antics. Camrae and Orlando met us each day at the bar with their warm smiles and enthusiasm. The drinks were awesome and nothing will replace the Jamaican Smiles we drank each day. Racquel attended to our needs on the beach and added to the best vacation ever. The food was amazing; the Japanese restaurant was our favorite, but everything we ate was excellent. The night buffet was just as delicious as the restaurants. The fact that we did not even want to leave the resort for any day trips says a lot as we enjoyed our snorkeling right in front of the hotel as well as sailing each morning. We will definitely be returning with the four other couples we traveled with and have already starting counting down the days until we return. We can't imagine that any other resort will be as accommodating, entertaining, friendly, clean, etc. We highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at the Iberostar Grand from Feb 6-13th. I would have to say it was the nicest resort we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived to the day we left we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The employees are very genuine people and hard workers. I would particularly like to mention Tanesha our beach waitress, she is a very sweet girl with a great smile!! Also, the star friends were great during the day and especially at night. The food and drinks were also great. Our room was very well maintained. We enjoyed breakfast on our balcony every morning. Room service is a must!! We will definately be returning next year. We look forward to seeing Bubbles, Short-cake, Neat and Stacy-Ann and all the rest of the friendly staff. You all were great!! Jamaician people are very kind and friendly. :)

We stayed at the Iberostar Grand because we were there for a wedding. The resort is absolutely beautiful and the service was impeccable. There were two employees that stood out above the rest. Darwin, our evening butler, and Barrington, who works at the Registration/front desk, were exceptional and constantly thought about our needs/wants before we did. Barrington made certain that we were booked in a room that was pleasing to us and went above our expectations. Also, during our stay, he went out of his way to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves. Darwin was INCREDIBLE! He made sure that our vacation was full of romance and relaxation. I couldn’t stop smiling because I was so pleased with everything. I know that I have high expectations when it comes to service and really cannot tolerate anything less, and I never had anything to complain about. The only reason why we went to Jamaica was for a wedding but I would happily return just based on the service and attentiveness of Darwin and Barrington. I would highly recommend staying at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall and suggest that you request Darwin as your butler.

The Grand certainly delivered. I suggest spending the extra few dollars to stay here instead of the suites or the beach property. All properties are nice but the Grand is well...grand. A massage by the pool is a must even if you just do neck and shoulders. My only complaint is that my room smelled a bit like mildew when we walked in, I'm guessing from the humidity. I travel with Lysol so I just sprayed around and opened the balcony door and it was back to perfect. Davian and Kevin (butlers) were awesome. There is only wi-fi in the lobby but I needed to be forced away from technology in order to really relax so it actually worked out well. Everything was excellent. So excellent that we have already booked the Iberostar Grand Bavaro for our end of the year trip. Great job guys! All I can say is you need to experience this for yourself.

My husdand and I enjoyed another valentine long weekend at the Grand. The hotel accomodated our room request with no delay even though we arrived at the hotel by 11 am and it was full to capacity. We enjoyed exceptional service from our butlers Randy and Darwyn--hard to believe the consistency year after year with staff. Every reservation request and change was accomodated. In addition all of my special requests were granted including our daily afternoon champagne which was waiting in the room. We enjoyed all restaurants and simply suggest think about where you are and what is both local and the restaurant speciality when you order and you will not go wrong. The steak house became a favourite and we enjoy eating on the terrace at the Italian. Fish, chicken and beef are consistently above par for an all inclusive destination.

O'neill at the pool bar went out of his way to welcome my husband and I back--his drink reccomendations were perfect and his smile and energy positively contagious!
We also enjoyed exceptional service from Clive at lobby bar in the mornings. Lukky and the star friends reamin extremely hard working and gifted. They make efforts to involve people in activities but are not overly pushy.

Two notable distinctions for us were that we overlapped with several large group/corporate events which seemed to push up the average age group and caused the resort to appear much much busier then in the past where our experince was a little more intimate.
The resort also seemed to change some of its beach side and poolside entertainment rules. There was little to no music before 4pm and no morning ocean/beach aerobics. The gym facilities are not desireable in our opinion and we prefer to enjoy some fitness outside (or at least with an ocean view) when possible in any event. Also on our previous visits we recall enjoying some lively upbeat music and more dancing from the star friends. Regardless it is extremely difficult to complain about this perfect adults only choice for a mature couple looking to wind down, enjoy sun, beach, food service, nicely appointed and well mainatined rooms, top shelf drinks, immaculate grounds and OVERALL from check in to check out Exceptional Service. One last note to Peter and William the bell boys who smiled and went to great lengths to ensure we made all our transfers. Deanna and Lou

We booked our airport transfers through Clive--Met Clive briefly this time and enjoyed an informative ride from Christopher on the way back to the airport--a bright educated young man with useful Island information. The transportaion is reliable and reasonable and the red stripe is a welcome treat at the start of the trip. Deanna Sgro

We recently returned from the Iberostar Grand, we had never gone to an all inclusive resort and boy did we hit the jack pot. The staff is very friendly, the food is excellent and the amenities were the best. Never a dull moment. The entertainment was great and they even came off the stage afterwards to mingle with us. The bartenders are so funny! they sing and dance! We just had an outstanding time. The beach was stunning and even if you arent one for the sun there is plenty of shade offered. I really missed some of the people we came familiar with while we were there once we got back home. Like many of the other reveiws said it is on the pricey side but, it was worth every penny and maybe more. I would reccomend if you are looking for a luxurious retreat for fun and relaxation to try this place! We will def be going back again:)

A group of five of us just returned after a week at this fine resort. Rooms were very clean (thanks to Bridget) and spacious with great amenities. Service was top notch right from check in with Kenroy. The food and service was excellent at the buffet and restaurants thanks to Moises, Francisco, and the following servers: Raquel, Opal, Andrew, Nikisha, Godfrey, Shoshane, Yolanda, and Denzel. Entertainment was amazing especially dancing with Richard, Marvin and Jodi Ann. Butlers Darwin and Randy were excellent. Kiki, Bubbles, Shortcake, Diva, and G-money made the days fun at the pool. The piano bar entertainment was wonderful because of an excellent piano player by the name of Joval Green. We were kept safe by a very competent life guard named Basil. Alba and Santos were most accommodating. This is a resort that is 5 star plus and one that you would want to return to. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
