We recently went to Frogmill for our honeymoon and could not have picked a better b and b to stay in. The cottage looks as if it should be on a chocolate box ,with a stream running by and pretty wild garden with free running ducks and hens. We had the medland suite and found it spotlessly clean with all the comforts of home provided. A superb breakfast awaited us each morning with proper bacon ,sausages and eggs from the hens. All in all a lovely stay with charming hosts who could teach other b and b owners a thing or two. many thanks mark and linda.

Room Tip: all are lovely

We spent a lovely weekend with our 2 dogs in the Fingle Suite at Frogmill. Ken and Sue were very warm and welcoming hosts, accommodating us with a late arrival and helping us to find local walks, points of interest and pubs for dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend away in a beautiful part of the UK.

We stayed at Frogmill for 3 nights but wished we had more time there. Ken and Sue were lovely hosts who really ensured that we had a nice relaxing stay. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and is situated on 9 acres so it is very tranquil. The breakfasts were fantastic and our hosts supplied us with maps and suggested routes for exploring Devon and the Dartmoor National Park. We would recommend Frogmill to anyone.

We stayed here on our way to Cornwall for just one night.

Frogmill is a pretty thatched cottage, modernised to a very high standard set on a very quiet and narrow road somewhat off the beaten track.

We were cooked a very nice restaurant quality meal by Sue - she is a very good cook!
actually Ken does a pretty good breakfast too.

If you are having dinner please remember to bring your own wine if you want any as they have no liquor licence of course.

The whole place has a nice feel about it, large gardens, chickens and Ducks.

The only tatty thing was Sues old teddy bear on the window sill.

Recommended.

There is not much more to add about Frogmill......it has mostly been said. This place oozes quality and good taste. If anyone is thinking of going into the B&B sector, then a visit here would show you exactly how it should be done. The hosts, Ken and Sue made us most welcome and a grand cup of tea and slice of cake was much appreciated after our long journey. The rooms are excellently equipped, the fluffiest towels I have ever come across, fresh flowers in the bedroom, fabulous breakfast, lovely views and a walk in the woods from the back door. This is a real haven tucked away in the Devon countryside whilst having many attractions close by. Frogmill surely cannot fail to impress even the most discerning traveller. We will most definitely return.

You can certainly see why Ken & Sue have acquired a 5 star AA rating for their beautiful b&b right in the heart of the Devon countryside. As other reviewers have noted, there are lots of nice little touches from the fresh rose on the dressing table to the home made (and amazing) breakfast muffins ...oh and tea and cake on arrival! And I must mention Sue's very sweet gesture of some new fluffy socks for my girlfriend who had a broken toe and a semi-frozen foot having had to wear flip flops all day! Much appreciated!

We had the Fingle Suite which is in a private coach house - perfect for us. It had plenty of room, a sumptuous bed and beautifully fitted out. We even had our own driveway.

Breakfast was a real treat. I'm pretty fussy about my cooked breakfast, often sending it back in london restaurants if not up to scratch but this one received full marks. I had the granola and fruit as well - partly because I'm a pig but mainly because it looked (and tasted) so good!

We are very satisfied customers and certainly hope to return. Ken & Sue are really great hosts and we wish them every success - I'm certain they'll be booked out often so get in while you can!

Room Tip: If you want total privacy away from the main house - book the Fingle Suite

The room was lovely, the shower was great, the breakfasts were delicious, but it was the little things that made this B&B stand out from the rest.
The attention to detail is amazing.
Ken and Sue have done a wonderful job making Frogmill a truly memorable experience for their guests.

Thanks guys, and even though it rained for most of our 4 days in Devon (not your fault) we really enjoyed our stay at Frogmill.

Room Tip: We had the smaller Tillerton room, and although it was great I would go for one of the larger rooms...

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us here in Devon....despite the rain that came at the end of a very splendid summer.
Tillerton is the smallest of our rooms but guests do have a very comfortable private sitting room with cosy fire and rugs to snuggle up in the winter and doors opening on to sunny terrace in the summer.
