“Excellent stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013

You can certainly see why Ken & Sue have acquired a 5 star AA rating for their beautiful b&b right in the heart of the Devon countryside. As other reviewers have noted, there are lots of nice little touches from the fresh rose on the dressing table to the home made (and amazing) breakfast muffins ...oh and tea and cake on arrival! And I must mention Sue's very sweet gesture of some new fluffy socks for my girlfriend who had a broken toe and a semi-frozen foot having had to wear flip flops all day! Much appreciated!

We had the Fingle Suite which is in a private coach house - perfect for us. It had plenty of room, a sumptuous bed and beautifully fitted out. We even had our own driveway.

Breakfast was a real treat. I'm pretty fussy about my cooked breakfast, often sending it back in london restaurants if not up to scratch but this one received full marks. I had the granola and fruit as well - partly because I'm a pig but mainly because it looked (and tasted) so good!

We are very satisfied customers and certainly hope to return. Ken & Sue are really great hosts and we wish them every success - I'm certain they'll be booked out often so get in while you can!

Room Tip: If you want total privacy away from the main house - book the Fingle Suite

The room was lovely, the shower was great, the breakfasts were delicious, but it was the little things that made this B&B stand out from the rest.
The attention to detail is amazing.
Ken and Sue have done a wonderful job making Frogmill a truly memorable experience for their guests.

Thanks guys, and even though it rained for most of our 4 days in Devon (not your fault) we really enjoyed our stay at Frogmill.

Room Tip: We had the smaller Tillerton room, and although it was great I would go for one of the larger rooms...

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us here in Devon....despite the rain that came at the end of a very splendid summer.
Tillerton is the smallest of our rooms but guests do have a very comfortable private sitting room with cosy fire and rugs to snuggle up in the winter and doors opening on to sunny terrace in the summer.

We just returned home from a week long stay at the Frogmill bed and breakfast. Ken and Sue are the most amazing hosts. The breakfasts were delicious and the room both beautiful and clean. A real pleasure was coming home to soak in the gorgeous bath!! (not to forget the biscuits and tea)
Additionally nothing was too much trouble for Ken and Sue. They gave great advice on where to go in the area and even packed a "to go" breakfast for us when we needed to leave at 5am.
Worth every cent........
ps: Sue's muffins are fabulous

This beautiful b and b is less than 2 miles from the A30 but is right in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by glorious scenery, You need to be careful when you turn off the main rd. as the roads leading to F.mill are very narrow.
The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the bathrooms are almost as big as the bedrooms. The owners are a lovely couple and will do anything for you. You can, by arrangement have dinner there but it is not licensed. There are several pubs nearby.
You could, if you wished spend the whole holiday on their own 9 acres and if you are lucky 'Red' the cat, will walk round with you

Room Tip: Two rooms are in the main building, the other is in a building next door.

My husband and I had the enormous pleasure of staying at this outstanding B & B for 3 nights in August. Both inside and out in the extensive grounds, it is pure class, as is the attentive but unobtrusive service. Rooms are tastefully finished and very comfortable. Breakfasts were varied and an absolute delight each time, so we have no hesitation in recommending this B & B as a superb base from which to explore the West Country. In fact, we can't wait to return! Thank you so much, Sue & Ken.

In May 2013 we toured England and Wales with friends. We booked 4 and 5 star B&B accommodation for our entire 3 week trip and - guessing that Frogmill was special - saved it for the last two nights. Our high expectations were exceeded and, when we reminisce about our wonderful trip to Britain, we always agree that our stay at Frogmill was a highlight. From the moment our warm and welcoming hostess came out to meet our car, we knew we had arrived someplace special.
The four of us have travelled extensively and have enjoyed lovely accommodation in many countries. However, at Frogmill we were truly impressed by the quality of the accommodation, the fine attention to detail and the truly lovely setting. Breakfast , served in the comfortable dining room overlooking the gardens, was delicious. What a great way to start the day! I could go on but just let me say that we continued on to four destinations in Italy, five destinations in Greece and two in Turkey - and we're still talking about Frogmill. By our evaluation, it deserves its five stars on every level. Thanks so much Sue and Ken!
Ann and Brian, British Columbia, Canada

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely but we especially liked the one with the bird feeder outside the window.
