What a little gem this turned out to be. We were recommended to it by friends and were not disappointed. Tucked away and with a georgeous garden and grounds it was lovely. Also we were delighted with the breakfast and the standard of accomodation..
Worthy of its 5 star rating

We have just spent a wonderful two days at Frogmill where we were able to totally relax in the splendid environment. Our trip co-incided with some fantastic weather that allowed us to enjoy the magnificent gardens. We were made so welcome from the moment we arrived when we were treated to a Devon cream tea on the patio. Our room was beautifully furnished and there were many touches that emphasised the care that had been taken with the room. The bathroom was sheer luxury with the free standing bath that my wife found totally relaxing. The separate shower suited me perfectly as well. The breakfasts were excellent and again demonstrated that great care had been taken in sourcing high quality local produce. All in all this is a B&B that deserves its 5* rating.

I needed a ' me ' weekend to so decided to book into Frogmill to get away from it all. I certainly did! I stayed in the Medland room - which was gorgeous - the bathroom was very spacious and with a free standing bath and a separate shower unit, you could both relax or revitalise. The window overlooked the lovely garden, the bird feeder below the window was home for various birds ranging from Long tailed, blue, great, marsh t**ts (they wont let me write the actual word!! lol) and even a nuthatch.

The decor was beautiful, very tasteful but not over the top. The bed extremely comfortable, the duvet and pillows very luxorious!

The garden was lovely, if you love the countryside, but dont want to wander too far, this was perfect, 9 acres of peace and quiet, apart from the sound of the birds and the stream there was silence. Attempt a walk in the woods if you like a steep climb, you certainly feel like you are in the middle of no-where! There are no end of birds, trees and plant life to check out !

Ken and Sue are wonderful hosts, no only did Sue bring me tea and homemade scones (fresh out of the oven) when I got there, I had arrange to eat my evening meal there. They had friends staying with them and asked if I would like to join them for dinner (as I was the only other guest there at the time) - which I did - their company (and of course their guests, Alan and Penny) was fantastic, had lots of laugh! And the food was amazing!!

Breakfast is plentyful and tasty.

I cannot recommend this B and B enough, I loved every minute of it even though the weather was not too great. If you are looking for peace, tranquility and relaxation in Devon - Frogmill is the one!

Oh and the chickens - all 7 of them - were great company when wandering around the garden, I felt like the Pied Piper!!

Room Tip: The Medland is wonderful - the free standing bath was the clincher for me!!

We are so pleased you found your stay at Frogmill relaxing, peaceful and tranquil, exactly the experience we are striving to create for our valued guests.
The gardens continue to both delight and challenge us especially with the current weather conditions.
Should you have time to post the photograph of the tree creeper we would very much appreciate.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for us, it helps so much, hope to see you again sometime,

Kind regards
Sue and Ken

I was desperate to get away from my frantic worklife and enjoy some peace and tranquility in the countryside. I could not have chosen a more idyllic place to have done so... three days at Frogmill was the perfect place to relax. Not only is this b&b incredibly neat, beautifully decorated, wonderfully peaceful and with stunning views, but hosts Sue and Ken are a complete joy. Breakfast prepared by Sue and cooked by Ken was copious, delicious and very fresh...eggs from the chooks in their garden!
Sue has the most impeccable taste in decor and makes sure every comfort is provided from big fluffy bathrobes to eco-friendly toiletries. The evening meal she prepared would not be out of place in a top restaurant.
If you are looking for a really great place to stay where you are treated like a VIP and feel like one too, then this is the place for you!
For things to do: Good pubs and restaurants in close proximity and great walks too.
I went for a shopping day to Taunton which was a great experience. Lots of independent shops as well as the high street ones and believe it or not even the shop assistants are more friendly here.

Room Tip: They were all beautiful (really beautiful!) the Medland has a claw-foot bath but all the rooms have...

We were lucky enough to stay for 2 nights at Frogmill. We loved every minute of our time at this beautiful place. Our room was perfect. It was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean and had a wonderful view over the garden. We were impressed by the little details like the quality linen and the gorgeous pillows. We hope to return in the near future.

Room Tip: Choose one of the 2 rooms overlooking the garden at the back.

My puppy, husband and I stayed at the newly opened Frogmill B&B over the Easter break. The hosts were lovely and very accomodating to us and our 6 month old puppy. We were welcomed with delicious tea and cakes upon check in. The room was immaculate and the bathroom was amazing. It was fantastic to wake up to the sound of birds chirping just outside our window. The breakfasts were hearty and set us up for the day which we spent on lovely walks in the Moor which is very accessible from where we were. Sue even gave her guests Easter bunny chocolates on Easter Sunday, which was very thoughful.

The location was stunning, the small village was quiet and beautiful, and surrounded by fields. There are loads of local pubs and restaurants within short driving distance of the B&B, Ken very generously offerred to drive us to one of them and also pick us up so we were able to make the most of our dinner.

We definitely recommend the Frogmill B&B to anyone wishing to spend some time in Devon.

Room Tip: There is a specific room for guests travelling with their dogs, so be sure to let them know that you...

Our hosts were really welcoming, the room and bathroom were gorgeous and both had stunning views of the grounds. We stayed 3 nights and would go back again for sure. There is lots to do locally and you can eat out at some good places or book an evening meal at Frogmill. We did both.

Room Tip: We were in Medland. It has a superb bathroom and view and a real 'cottage' feel.
