In a nutshell, this is the perfect place to stop in Punakaiki on your way down to the Southern Alps. The rooms are great, the food in the restaurant, although expensive, is fantastic and there is nothing better than sleeping next to the beach, listening to the waves. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, which is not good when it is hot outside.
That being said, we could not recommend this place more.
