Right, let's say this Parador is set in a truly magnificient location, right in the middle of beautiful mountains and it therefore offers breathtaking views. Let's also admit that this particular location gives a real sense of privilege to all the guests, which always is a core benefit.
Keeping in mind this is a Pardor, I would have expected far better service and more sophistication all the way. Rooms are basic to say the least, food for breakfast is just OK but nothing exciting either, eating at the restaurant in the evening was noisy (plenty of shouting kids), pricey and food was under average. There aren't any alternative place to eat unless you decide to drive all the way to Bielsa, 15 km away.
They have a quiet outside terrace which is the perfect place for reading and having a nice drink in a relaxing atmosphere. This space seems to be devoted to couples, and there hardly is any noisy kid around which is great. Truly enjoyable and chill out.
There are nice walks to be done, starting from the Parador so this overall is a good place to stop, for a couple of days, but be prepared: this hotel is very basic and do not expect Paradores standards here.More
