“Take the guided tour. this was great”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

Didn't know what to expect but this was very nice. Walking through tropical gardens and having the spices and their benefits, etc explained was helpful. Without the guide it would have just been looking at pretty plants. This would be a stop you should make.

“Best place in Penang”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

Went here today, jumped on the 101 bus from Batu Ferringhi, 1.40MYR ea. Make sure you tell the bus driver where your going and he will stop right at the front.

It's very nice here and we spent a pleasant couple of hours wandering through the garden out of the hustle and bustle. Make sure you visit the restaurant at the top, great location overlooking the ocean and the food was delicious.

The staff at the front desk were helpful and told us to hail the bus even though there is no bus stop out the front. This worked a treat, same price back to Batu Ferringhi 1.40MYR ea.

All up the best place we visited in Penang.

“Closed - on a weekend!”
Reviewed March 25, 2014

We took a long bus trip up to see this attraction on a Saturday but when we arrived we were informed they were closed for a private function! It took us another hour to catch a bus back to Georgetown. What a waste of time.

Reviewed March 24, 2014 via mobile

We visited the spice garden yesterday. It was so nice, calm and peacefull there. The garden is wel maintained and clean. Lots of nice flowers and plants to see. Visit takes about 2 hours. Mosquito repellent is provided at the entrance. Loved the big swing with it's ocean view!!
