A great spot to relax after walking around Penang Hill. Pleasant gardens and olde world charm. Food was good and we enjoyed our meal. Better than the nearby cafe if you want a relaxing sit down lunch and drink. Don't expect fine dining but a good lunch spot.

Very rude and poor services by the waiters spoilt my mood trip in penang hill. Better chilling at cliff cafe.

Four of us stopped here to have tea and coffee along with some food. Two found the beef burger very dry, tea for two was nice and and would have it again.

Overall the place has a great view, nice and quiet. Be ready to spend some money as your paying for the view.

Visited Penang Hill Tea Terrace and had the scones with tea and a sliver of fruit cake - really pricey and didn't think much of the dried out fruit cake.

Service was good but not brilliant. Views are great but a very long wait to get the train back down the hill!!!

David Brown's Restaurant is really a lovely dining experience under the stars and with a sky loft seaview of Penang. My husband and i love the food, the mixed grill and soup were delicious. I love the jerbera flowers at the side and we love the beautiful pond and the romantic ambience. We particularly also love the sylish colonial interior design of the restaurant and the friendly staff. The ambience was not only romantic but also one that is refreshing and relaxing, i wish that is an attached spa to the restaurant! However, we were a little surprise that it does not accept credit card but cash but a restaurant of this standard. Nevertheless, we are appreciative of the lovely memory dining under the star, i wish Bellevue Hotel would upgrade to the restaurant's standard!
