Arrived in early Dec. of 2013 with the plan of staying until Jan. 1 when I could secure a new visa in Nepal. Loved it so much at Rewa I stayed on until early Feb. The owner, the manager and staff are wonderful and made my extended stay very enjoyable. The food was excellent, the chef is fantastic… The property and rooms are everything they say on their website, the Cawnpore Suite was very spacious and comfortable. Bhowali is very quiet and the local shop keepers and residents were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The beauty of Bhowali is best represented by its children who were an endless source of delight on all of my morning and evening walks. You can walk out the gates of Rewa and walk a loop which takes you to 3 beautiful temples on quiet roads with views of lakes, mountains and valley's or walk the peaceful terraces any time night or day in perfect safety. You can also walk on a beautiful mountain trail which begins on the terraces behind Rewa and walk for 11 km (7 miles) to Gagar Temple with spectacular views of Nanda Devi, the bliss-giving goddess of Uttarkhand, Himalaya. The snow in the higher altitudes in Feb. made for a delightful winter walk with breathtaking views of valley's and mountains and snow-capped peaks. Returning back to the Retreat for a wonderful dinner and a relaxed atmosphere and a warm cozy bed capped some beautiful hikes in this wonderful area. Nainital is only 11 km away for those wanting the hustle and bustle of a lakeside community for a few hours with wonderful shopping and a great Tibetan market. Also the fast reliable internet service in my suite allowed me to work part of every day so that I could extend my stay and still fulfill my work responsibilities in the USA and Nepal.

Went there in June 2012. It was a beautiful experience and the personal care taken by the hosts. Felt really good that it was out of the hustle and bustles of the main city. The evenings and mornings spent there were so refreshing. Not only the staff, even the dog there was so friendly. The staff were very courteous and efficient. They made the food as per our request, not following a strict menu. Certainly a very sweet and memorable experience

This was my second stay at rewa retreat and the property was still as it was 3 years ago. Its a small and cosy boutique property with nice and well laid out rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful and cater to your needs accordingly. I would suggest going in the spring season for the fruits and flowers as it has a nice fruit market.
Note: Check for the hot water with the hotel staff as sometimes the centralised geyser doesnt work.

The total team is very good. They give value for money.
Mr Saurabh was a great help in providing me a make shift kitchen as i stayed for 3-weeks.
They provide very good food and the garden is loaded with plum trees .they encourage u to eat all the plums mother nature drops every day.
Mr Saurabh gave me a bag full of plums on my departure date which i enjoyed for the next 10 day in delhi.
They can provide you a guide for tracking.

A very good lawn for relaxation-morning the birds wake you.

We had traveled from Dehradun for our meeting ar Bhowali. HAd though that we will get some government accomodation. But since we were at the peak of season...we were politely asked to look our for Hotel in Bhowali only. I was with my colleague Himanshu. We decided to check in any hotel and then leave for Nanital for dinner etc.
As we turned on the road where all said had many options this property was the second one on the left.

I decided to first go an check the place and availability. As I climbed the stairs I realized that this place has special touch in it. Checked the room and Woola !! what luck. Rooms had perfect settings as we saw the one on top floor with little balcony.

So what next we decided to stay in this property for the night as we had to leave for Dehradun early morning.

Must say what a place to stay. We did not go to Nanital but stayed back. Had great dinner and amazing sleep.

Both of us promised to bring our families to this place after monsoon..

If hill station visit to you means nature and away for hustle bustle..this place has the potential.
