the restaurant has a nice terrace, right off the main square in Grandola. If you fancy the local Alentejo cuisine, this is a good place to go. Food is served amazingly fast. It is not refined but comes in copious plates with big chuncks of meat or more migas than you can eat. The menu is quite limited but if you book in advance, you can also eat the famous rice with fish stew (arroz marisco I believe it's called). Service is great (especially the young waitress) who translated the menu for us with a smile).

Food was good, but the staff seemed overwhelmed with the amount of customers.

Asking for the check was a hassle as they didn't even look to the tables which had already been served. I had to chase the waiters to pay.

Also no ATM service available when I went there.

This restaurant was a find. It is off the highway in a quaint town. We had a mixture of Portuguese food that was very tasty. Tapas very good. Service outstanding and very attentive to details. The patio is beautiful. Worth the drive.

It's very small and cozy restaurant with a specialty that in Portuguese you can call pan food, just because it's made in a pan with a lot of ingredients that result in a magnificent smell and outstanding taste
We started with a melted cheese with olive oil and coriander... was fantastic
Then we asked for a clam rice. It took a long time to serve (that's the problem in the pan food because it's made in that moment) but when was served OH LA LA... It was awesome... I really loved it and made me forget the time I was waiting for it
For finish, a chocolate mousse, very smoothy and tasteful.
The amount that we pay is very good for all the quality of the products
I really recommend!!!

Cozy restaurant in the heart of Grandola. Went to have dinner late in the evening (11 pm), we had a warm welcome. We ordered a bacalhau plate and an octopus plate, both very tasty and generous. The desserts were great too and we were offered a porto and a muscatel (typical Portoguese sweet wines). Overall, an extremely pleasing experience with a very friendly service by the staff. Definitely recommended if you are in Grandola and the lavender outside smells incredibly good!
