My Wife,Adult Son and I stayed at this Hotel from 28th September to 8th October 2018.We went on a Bed,Breakfast and Evening Dinner Basis. We all were more than ready for a quiet, peaceful, and relaxing Break. We were not disappointed. We arrived and were straight away impressed by the appearance of the Hotel and Gardens. The receptionist gave us a warm welcome and was most efficient. All the staff throughout in reception were pleasant and helpful. The accommodation was very good that is the bedroom, dining room, bar and Garden Bar. All were very clean and the Housekeeping Staff were pleasant. The Staff in the Restaurant were all without exception pleasant, warm and efficient. Thanks for teaching us a little of The Greek Language especially at Breakfast. The Food? Again we were all looking forward to our meals whether Breakfast or Dinner. Buffet meals which meant we had plenty to eat and there was always a great choice of good quality food. Thanks to Boris the Restaurant Manager who was always on hand for a chat either about the meals or anything else about where to go etc etc.A bus stop for a short journey to the Lovely Corfu Town or other Beaches/towns was close to the hotel. We loved the local beach and sea just a fairly short walk away. Thanks for a great time we have no complaints whatsoever.

This hotel was so bad we felt it was our duty to warn others about the state of it.

The hotel is in a great location and has a really nice out door seating area. However, it is located at the top of a fairly high hill, which might make it difficult to get to for people that have troubled knees, for example.

The service was poor, at best. The owner had a generally depressing vibe and didn't seem to value her customers. Frankly, it seemed as if she had given up on caring and wanted to make a quick "buck" out of people. This attitude clearly influenced the receptionist and other staff as they all seemed unwelcoming.

This was of course bearable, up until the point we saw the room and the way the food service was handled. The furniture in the room (beds and desk) were literally made out of concrete that was fused to the walls of the room. And, to make matters worse, were plastered with that prickly plaster effect, which was really sharp. So when your arm, for example, brushed up against the wall, it would scratch your skin and be painful. This made it very difficult to sleep as the head board was made of concrete and plastered in the same way. The actual mattress was really thin interns of height and thus you could feel that there was prickly concrete below you.

If we could have afforded it, I would have payed for a different hotel as I barely slept a wink due to the quality of the concrete bed and thin mattress. To add to this, we also had trouble with ants coming through the balcony doors. When we complained about the ants, we were met with zero suggestions as to a solution, and I myself felt as if they assumed ants were an acceptable part of one's stay. I insisted that they provide me with spray to deal with the ants, which provided a temporary solution that was mostly ineffective. The air conditioning comes at an additional cost and we felt hunted down for the money we owned, (5 euro), even though we had a full days stay left. We weren't allowed to take our keys until we paid around 24 hours before we left even.

One of the worse things about the hotel was the way breakfast in the morning was handled. The omelette was cut in to child-like pieces to encourage us to take less. There was barely enough provided at any one point one, which also made you feel guilty when you took a significant portion as it left others with nothing. It also would take a long time for them to top up the "buffet". The owner would literally stand and watch every single thing you would take from the buffet which made you feel as if you were in a prison.

Finally, the owner launched into a speech complaining that we asked it we could print our boarding passes at reception. We were literally told off.

Pros: the Greek Yogurt really nice and the location was good.

I am a little confused about your review as the hotel was not open in November 2017. When you booked, you should have been made aware by your travel agent as to what your package included. Depending on your choice you could have had air-conditioning included or not. You may not be aware but the hotel has been renovated and all rooms have air-conditioning, mini fridges and 40 inch Flat screen Smart TV,s. included. The new Chef is from the Corcyra Beach Hotel, a local 5* hotel and the food has received very favorable reviews. I am also surprised that you found the staff unwelcominmg as this has always been the strongest positive point about this hotel. It is not our policy to make a quick 'buck' out of the clients as the very reasonable prices indicate. You may not have personally liked the owner but other clients have only ever found her to be polite, helpful and professional. We respect your right to have an opinion despite the inaccuracies which it contains,

This hotel is in a lovely tranquil setting.Transfer time about 30 mins. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Rooms cleaned constantly. Pool and bar area beautiful and with gorgeous views. Beds very comfortable. Flat screen TV with a few english channels on (not just news). We took our firestick with us and the Wi Fi is excellent so we were able to watch TV on the one day that it rained.. Air Con excellent. Black out shutters worked brilliantly and it was so quiet, we slepped like logs.Restaurant has lovely views and the food choice IS limited but good, I really loved the bread and the cheese pies. My only gripe would be free tea/coffee or water with dinner please. Bus stop into Corfu town five mins walk down the hill, tickets 2 euros or 5 euros for the day, this covers a large part of the island. The buses are VERY busy, we had to stand almost every time, but it is only about 20 mins journey. We did walk it one day, but it is a long walk.Corfu town itself is lovely with lots of lovely Tavernas and old buildings. If you are going to this part of Corfu, this hotel really should be your number one choice.

Room tip: Sea view rooms lovely. Take a travel kettle and flip flops for the shower.

Stayed for 4 nights with my sister.
Enjoyed the beautiful pool, plenty of sunloungers. Food Very nice.room spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and curtious especially Vasillas the poolside barman who was very nice.and handsome too!
Amanda the owner was very pleasant also.
Only downside for me was the steep hill you have to climb and very busy road at the bottom, everything else perfect. An ideal hotel if you want to relax and unwind.
