My girlfriend and I stayed here recently whilst visiting the Aquensis Spa. Chantelle is a very warm, welcoming host who has great eye for design and artistic flair. The hotel is so tastefully decorated but it not cold, it's very warming and the ambience is relaxing. Chantelle also speaks English which really helped as our French is poor, sorry Chantelle!! Thank you for lending us the adaptor and we are sorry we tookit with us, it was an honest mistake. If you love art and interior design and you are in Bagneres de Bigorre, it's a truly beautiful place to stay...Best wishes Chantelle,

James & Natalie.

Our second trip to this well run B&B. The owner, M. Chantal Estelle-Lacene, made us very welcome. The location of the property in the centre of this charming town is ideal and parking nearby (on the street or open car parks) is not usually a problem as the town is very quiet at night. There is a choice of restaurants nearby to suit most tastes. M. Estelle-Lacene also offered us safe storage for our bicycles which was much appreciated. The rooms are well decorated and our room (Botero) benefits from air-conditioning if needed. There is a small roof-top terrace for relaxing on. The breakfasts here are amongst the best I have experienced in France with different choices each day, fruit, yoghurt and artisanal confitures etc. We hope to return some time.

My wife and I recently stayed four nights at this excellent chambres d'hotes. Chantal is a warm, welcoming host who serves a lovley breakfast and who speaks French beautifully. It was a pleasure just tp listen to her. I don't think she speaks much english; but she may have spoken french to us because we spoke to her in french. Nevertheless her B&B is well situated in a quiet part of town but close to the center. We used the B&B as a base for hiking in the nearby Pyrenees(A one hour drive to most of the best hikes). Our room was comfortable and well appointed with tasteful and artistic touches. Overall this is simply one of the best B&Bs in France, made all the more so by a wonderful hostess.

This beautiful B&B was charming as was the owner Chantelle.. She baked everything herself and breakfasts were delicious..We stayed in the room at the top, 'Botero', which had it's own little loft..There was a huge tub to relax in at the end of the day. It is across the street from the Spa which was unlike anything we've been to before...Restaurants are close by, as is the Saturday Market and town square...A delightful stay!

Room Tip: Ask for 'Botero'

Stayed here with my son during the Tour de France and would recommend it to any traveller or holidaymaker - especially bikies aiming to ride the cols of the Pyrenees. Ideally placed, opposite the Casino, close to the shops and restaurants but wonderfully quiet. Delightful rooms, full of character - and spotlessly clean and comfortable. It's also a tea shop, so, as you can imagine, the breakfast was a feast of various types of breads and pastries, along with wonderful coffee (filter or espresso from a Gaggia-type machine), fruit compote or yoghurt, and fruit juice. Run by the charming, helpful Chantal Estela-Lacene, who made us wonderfully welcome. She also sent us to the best restaurant in town - which just happens to be next door. Perfect! I would love to return to this delightful and modestly-priced little hotel. And I am a retired travel journalist known to his grandsons as "Grumpy Grandpa" - so not easily pleased...
