We was here two weeks in February 2013. It was our first trip to Montenegro in the winter. We did not expect to appear in so fine place. Beautiful nature, nice weather and attentive owners of these made our Holiday a wonderful and unforgettable. We will necessarily return here. I recommend this apartments for all tourists.

Went there with friends for a ski/snowboarding trip. It's a nice place and the folks owning it are really friendly. We got a lot of freebies (food/drinks) and Mrs Bakic baked us some really awsome bread.

Stayed here as part of a group of 11 people during New Year's, for 4 nights.
The rooms were very clean and the ground floor we occupied was decent for the value we payed.
The most pleasant surprise were the hosts. We had a very warm welcome and during our entire stay the hosts were very very nice and helpful. I guess it's pretty rare these days.

Warm, friendly and lovely hosts. We only stayed one evening but were plied with mum's delicious home-made dessert, dad's excellent home-made apple rakija, turkish coffee, juice... and spent hours shooting the breeze under their apple tree. Our twin room was clean, comfortable and very good value for money. I think the Bakic family are one of those increasingly rare folks in the hospitality trade - people who actually like having guests! Would definitely stay again if I return to Kolasin, even if I was offered fancier accommodation for free!

It's a short walk from town, in a cluster of several other guest houses on the left as you take the road out of town, just after the new school. Take a picture or memorise what the house looks like so you can find it - strangely most of the guest houses do not have signboards advertising their name.

We spent a night here last week, and had a lovely stay. The Bakics are extremely friendly and plied us with cups of very strong Turkish coffee, home-made plum juice and shots of home-made apple raki and fruit on arrival. Mrs Bakic is learning English and enjoys chatting to her guests in her lovely garden under the apple trees.

Intending to make an early-ish start the next day, we were happily sidetracked into more bracing Turkish coffee, juice and the dessert that each guest 'must' have and we'd missed the night before. A little like the topping of îles flottantes with a cream and fruit layer below (all from her garden) it made a surprisingly good breakfast. (We decided raki in the morning was a step too far.) We paid up the very small sum for a twin room (fairly basic but very clean and neat, with access to kitchen facilities and with TV and broadband) and drove off.

A couple of minutes later we turned up again - the guests who would never leave - due to a puncture. Bless them, they got a mechanic out within 15 minutes who charged us a ridiculously small sum, and it was all we could do to get back on the road again (more coffee? raki? juice?)

We really enjoyed our stay, and got a taste of the local culture and hospitality.

It's slightly hard to find, as there is no sign and Montenegro is not known for its numerous road signs... (see my photo of the map from tourist info), but Kolasin is a small town so you can get someone to direct you.
