In Greek culture food is central to all kinds of events:family, joy, friendship, togetherness. This is a tradition that Chrisoula and her family and staff extend to all their guests at both the Miramare studios and the Hotel Ganymede.
I was overwhelmed by the generosity shown to me on every one of the 15 days I stayed at the Miramare.
Chrisoula ( a modern day Hestia ) believes there is no better way to show that shes cares for her guests than to prepare an amazing array of homemade jams, preserves and chutneys ( all from locally sourced ingredients ) and serve them at her sumptious breakfast table. What a great start to the day - healthy, nutritious and therapeutic. The quality and quantity have to be seen and tasted to be believed. Truly the best and tastiest breakfasts in all of Greece !
Chrisoula is ably assisted at the Miramare by the lovely, angelic Anna. She has a joyful, kind and caring personality that she should take great pride in. Who could forget that beautiful smile?
And not to forget Vasiliki who keeps the rooms spotlessly clean and welcoming.
My thanks to you all (including Costas for his great breads/cakes and ouzo ) for a wonderful holiday and showing me true Greek generosity of spirit - Filoxenia.

Room Tip: The Miramare is ideally located by the port. A great place to watch the comings and goings of the many yachts and caiques that use the harbour.

We agree with the last reviewer. A very friendly hotel. We had a well-appointed, spacious room with a couple of balconies. We were on an upper floor so had nice views. All very relaxing.

Breakfast was indeed splendid with lots of tasters of excellent homemade jams, yoghourt and honey, freshly squeezed orange (it is the orange season) and so on. When we were asked how we'd like our eggs, we simply had no more room!

Spacious, immaculate studios with sea-view balconies.
Amazingly sumptuous breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff.
Located in a quiet courtyard beside the fishing harbour.
Highly recommended for a week or two stay.
