We went in February and the restaurant is down in the cellar (steep steps!). There was a nice fire burning but unfortunately it was still cold in the room.

The food was good with large portions. Unfortunately our choice of main course was off and we ended up having to pay a supplement to the fixed price menue to get a dish we liked.

Overall we felt it was an expensive meal for what we had but the portions were large.

We will go again in the summer to sit on the terrace outside.

We arrived 7 minutes before opening time and asked if we could have a table for 3, "Sorry you are too early" was the response. When we saw that all the tables were all set we asked if we could just sit and have a drink before... "No you can't" was the reply. So we moved on to another restaurant... We live in the area and eat out approximately 3 to 4 times a week. We are sorry we never got to try this restaurant but know that with attitude like that, it is probably best we didn't. As owners of a Bed and Breakfast and Gite in the area, we know not to recommend this restaurant as a friendly welcoming place to our guests.

Very nice atmosphere, good service and great food. Foie Gras and steak de Taureau (bull) are excellent!!! Good proportions. Another keeper on my list of good restaurants!!

My wife and I had dinner on the patio on a Tuesday night.

We both had the fois gras starters, which was very nice. For main course my wife had the steak which she thought was rather too large and over powered with the herbs on top. I had the lamb which was lovely.

For desert I had a lovely strawberry desert whose name escapes me at the moment.

Overall a very nice evening.

A charming couple run this Provencal restaurant with Thierry working magic in the kitchen and the lovely Amy making front of house as welcoming as your own living room.
In a subterannean large dining room beautifully decorated and with a fantastic large open fire the atmosphere is warm and cosy. In summer there is a large outside terrace.
We had been once before when accompanied by a friend's Downs Syndrome daughter when both Amy and Thierry welcomed her as one of their family (becoming a temporary waitress!)
And so to the food- Thierry has his own takes on an inventive menu which is essentially Provencal (with a strong influence from Marseille). When dining out we usually select dishes beyond our competence to prepare at home. Selection was not difficult - we wanted everything on the menu.
With a small fixed price menu of 2 or 3 courses the total experience is great value for money. Go soon!
