Stayed two nights here as part of family cycling holiday along river Mayenne, arranged by Inntravel. Immediately made at home by the very friendly owner. Spacious walled grounds, with pool, jacuzzi and gym- all in very good order. The area has a sleepy feel, and is only a few minutes by foot from the river. A very relaxing end to our trip.

Our rooms were in a separate building from the old house, possibly renovated stables. Our room had a newly remodelled bathroom, though the upgrade is still pending for the room our daughter had next door.
The gym, pool and jacuzzi were excellent. The pool is heated. Parking on the grounds. Quiet. Spotlessly clean. We only stayed one night, but the hotel would make a relaxing base for a longer visit. There are extensive grounds, with plenty of seating - away from the pool.
No A/C - but we knew that in advance.
Only negative : breakfast finishes at 09:00 Tuesday to Friday, which was far too early for us. We would have liked to have taken breakfast in the lovely dining room in the old house.

All the Park Hotel members thank you for your commentary.
We have actually set up a fitness space for the well-being of our customers : hammam, sauna, jacuzzy, sports room, massage room and cloakroom.
This space is only for our customers and is free.
As for breakfasts : we are very sorry you couldn't have any, in fact there are some hours but at this time of the year we well know to change them; unfortunatelywe forgot to tell you about it when you arrived; we will do better another time.
Sorry again
We hope to welcome you another time when you come around here.
sincerely yours

We stayed here for 3 nights while in France for a nearby wedding. While this isn't the style of Hotel I would normally go for, in essentials this 3 star Hotel was excellent. My friend's family is from this part of France and this Hotel was their top recommendation for this area.

The room we had on the top floor of the old house was quite small but it was bright, very clean and had a large comfortable bed. The manager had given us a choice of two rooms on the top floor which was nice as we knew they were almost booked out with many wedding guests, and after looking at the second room which was bigger it still made me grateful of the smaller brighter room I chose. The day after the wedding the manager was very kind to offer one of their best rooms on the first floor for no extra cost. I really appreciated this and they moved all our luggage down for us while we were out for the day.

Breakfast was very good, I enjoyed it everyday. The food seemed very fresh and good quality.

The hotel lends bikes to guests for free and there is a very nice cycle path along the banks of the La Mayenne river which we really enjoyed.

The hotel has a swimming pool outside which is free for guests. Unfortunately I did not have time to use it. It has a small roof on it which I assume helps to keep it clean and warm. The water temperature is supposed to be 24 degrees which felt a little cold when I put my hand in to check the temperature. The Hotel appears to be in the process of building a spa facility around the pool. So if you have seen pictures of a pool surrounded by grass lawn that's not what it looks like any more.

There is free parking on the Hotel grounds and out on the street if you arrive late. The Hotel locks the gate at night. There is 24 pedestrian access to the grounds using a security gate with a PIN number.

Room Tip: The best rooms are on the first floor of the main house.

On a motorbike tour of Brittany and the west coast of France, this hotel was a haven on a very hot day. The welcome from the owners was charminng; they could not have been more helpful and made us very welcome ... a very pleasant change from some UK hotels for motorcyclists. The grounds were lovely, as was the swimming pool. Rooms very clean, spacious and comfortable and the breakfast delicious.

My friend and I where lucky enough to find this hotel whilst on a Motorcycle trip around the Loire Valley and Brittany. We always use the excellent French Tourism offices to help us find accommodation and they turned up trumps again. The hotel is an elegant looking building set in its own grounds and is only 5 mins walk from the centre of town. The room we used was in an annexe close to the main building. The rooms was bright ,modern, and very clean and comfy. We had a very warm welcome at reception and every effort was made to ensure we enjoyed our stay. It is worth mentioning that in France unlike the UK, bikers are not treated like second class citizens. We had an excellent breakfast, which was buffet style from a table loaded with french goodies which I noticed were constantly being replenished. We enjoyed our stay very much and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who was travelling in this area of France
