“Very tasty and good value”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

Lovely - full of locals at lunchtime, efficient waitress buzzing around, delicious €18 menu with generous portions and particularly good entrecôte au beurre maître d'hôtel. Galette (starter) and crêpe (pud) also yummy. No complaints here.

“Good sunday night location”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

We were in St Pol looking for a restaurant on a Sunday evening and came across this one and we were very impressed.
The €18 set menu was very good value; although they had run out of mussels for my wife (they substituted fish soup) and it was the first (and probably last) galette I have ever had. However the main course - my wife had a big piece of white fish and a mountain of small chips and I had the entrecote steak, not huge but very tasty and tender with an equal portion of chips. For afters we managed the crepes with Grand Marnier en flambee which was tasty and spectacular too.
Service was attentive but discrete.
Highly recommended.

“good food”
Reviewed July 17, 2012

Tucked away in a very small side street this place is a little cracker. We were worried that we would't find anywhere open on a Sunday night and after the recommendation of the owner of Hotel du Cheval Blanc we went for a wander round and found the place and as they were setting up table for the evening we pooped in and booked a table, good job! When we arrived at our allotted time the place was heaving, the atmosphere was wonderful as was the food. Don't go to this place if you are not hungry, the portions are very ample..and it was one of the few places where we could order a pichet of wine rather than a bottle. I normally do not eat a sweet but in this place the flaming Grand Marnier crepe served with ice cream was just too hard to resist and tasted even better. The bill was not as much as we expected we were happy to leave a generous tip as the whole evening had been such a good one.

“Excellent lunch”
Reviewed July 2, 2012

This creperie is situated in a row of restaurants and we chose it because of it's comprehensive menu and good price. There was a wide selection of savoury/sweet crepes and various "offers" including sea food. The local cider served in traditional Breton mugs was excellent. Plenty of locals eating here at lunchtime which is always a good indication of a restaurant's popularity.

“Don't miss lunch here”
Reviewed September 25, 2011

We happened upon this delightful place for lunch while cycling through Brittany. We had the menu for 13 euro and had the fish soup and then mussels. Together with a glass of house wine. The meal was first class. The place was buzzing but the service was excellent. A not to be missed place.
