After checking into a hotel here we were very disappointed, in the evening we went to look for hotel that would offer us the services that we wanted. This we found at the Rajdoot Hotel, we have stayed here for two weeks and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The hotel is clean the staff very helpful and the whole atmosphere is very friendly.
Loved it looking forward to my next stay,

We arranged to stay at Hotel Rajdoot as it was near the 'family' home and we only needed it for 2 things: -
to sleep
to shower

Soon after we checked in we realised that the shower didn't work. The bit that you have to pull up so that it switches from tap to shower head didn't work. When we got the water at the temperature we wanted, the water came out of the tap AND the shower head so 1) there was a wastage of water & 2) the water pressure in the shower wasn't what it should have been.

The man to came to fix it said it was fixed when he hadn't done anything. I think he thought that we didn't know how it should work! I explained how it SHOULD work, after which he said he'd get the plumber to come out by tomorrow a.m.

My hubby asked whether it would definitely be fixed by then. He asked if it would turn into 'it will be fixed in 2 days time or 3'. The man promised it'd be done before 10 a.m. My hubby went as far as to explain that if it could not be fixed we'd go elsewhere as they had no other rooms available.

The saga continued for THREE days.

We were offered an upgrade but they expected us to pay the difference between the rooms which we weren't willing to do!

After a few hot tempered scenes, the same plumber, who we were told count NOT fix it, had fixed it!

However, then the temperature of the water was an issue. On the afternoon before we were checking out, the the owner called to say he was sorry, it had been fixed and if there were any issues he'd give us a refund for one night.

It was on this day that he or his daughter must have been to our room. We suddenly had hand towels which we assumed they didn't supply. There was also a bin liner in the bin. Last of all, we were given some toilet roll. All a bit late seeing as we'd been there 3 night already!

What we did get was a 10% discount for the hassle! :(

This Hotel is centrally located, small value for money hotel, for overnight stay, we used when we returned from Jamnagar, had to take next day morning flight to Mumbai, the service is good and friendly, the bathrooms are big and spacious.
The food is good, and overall we had a comfortable stay.

Centrally located on the Dr Yagnik road, Rajoot hotel provides a comfortable budget place to stay. Although 24 hour room service is offered, the absence of having an attached restaurant means that other than break fast only snacks and drinks such as tea and coffee are available. However, the hotel does have a tie up with some of the finer restaurants in the town for providing lunch and dinner. The guests can also place orders for home delivery at any of the nearby joints. And of course, just down the road is the ‘Imperial Palace’, a quality ‘high end’ hotel which has an attached restaurant.

I reached Rajkot after a 4 hr. journey from Ahmedabad by bus. It was my sudden plan and so no reservation in any hotel. But my friend had suggested this hotel by location.

The moment I entered this hotel, I was relaxed to see courteous staff. I knew my hotel selection was good. And tariff was just cool on my pocket.

Hotel room was neat and clean. Staff was helpful.

Being on Yagnik road, this hotel is in centre of commercial hub. What's more, there are several food spots nearby to delite your taste bud.
