Eleven hungry walkers enjoying a fabulous holiday with John and Carolyn who run menorcawalkingholidays.com descended on this lovely restaurant mid afternoon. Beer and wine served by smiling faces and fabulous food lavished on us by the owner himself of 22 years. First class, highly recommended and right in the centre of this small select resort.

We came across this restaurant last year at the end of our holiday and were keen to go back this visit. Recommend booking as always really busy which says it all. Although we didn't have the set menu it looked good value. It looks like vat is added so be aware of that. Good food, cooked to order in a central location. Set apart from the other restaurants just serving pizza, burger and chips. The menorcan special of pork with cheese was delicious. Favourite is the lemon sorbet with menorcan gin. So basically you can eat cheaper in son bou but by the end of a week you may want something else and this is the place to go!

Been visiting Son Bou for over 20 years so have a wealth of holiday dining experience.

Casa Andres is without doubt the finest restaurant in the resort. The food is always well presented & plentiful with a good wine list & knowledgable waiters as well.

Def worth a visit & the set menu is exceptionally good value. Try the chateaubriand the house speciality it's magnificent & a good tableside cooking display.

Welcome was not overly warm. Very helpful in ensuring children's choices catered for however the television sets being on destroyed any atmosphere. My husbands steak was cooked as ordered but my avocado prawns was mushy and yielded 4 prawns. My monkfish was way to salty and when commenting on this was thanked as the supplier would be informed. No offer of reduction or complimentary drink. Hence we left swiftly. I would not recommend.

My husband and 2 children visited this restaurant several times during our stay. The food is by far better quality than any other place we tried. The paella was amazing, there is an appetiser brought out before your main course which seems to be chefs choice, a delicious surprise! The first time we went it was olives and pieces of spanish omelette. Throughout Son Bou it seems that every restaurant only has about 6 choices of childrens dishes, all with chips, Casa Andres had a few more but again a much higher quality of choices, would recommend the breaded chicken breast... I found the price to be very reasonable, much the same or less than some of the touristy 'british' restaurants. BE AWARE - book a table in advance, this is a very popular restaurant.
