“a bad day out”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

We purchased a Cudo voucher for this restaurant, which advertised the fish platter for 2. We expected to get the meal from the menu. The meal arrived looking quite good till the sharing out and finding that it was different from the menu. There were only 8 oyster instead of 12, 1 skewer of prawns instead of 2, the fish was 1 very small piece between the 2 of us. The chips were white and soggy,, and whole meal was just warm. Seamed like it had been sitting in the kitchen for some time before coming out to the table. There were also mussels that after eating about 5 of them which taisted good were fine then we had a couple that did not taiste very nice, this we told the waiter about. His reaction was to say that it's all fresh from the market, he did not look at them, take them back or mention it to the kitchen. When asking about the number of oysters and prawns were told it was all you got with a Cudo voucher. A very poor meal, service, and care for the customer

“Something for everyone”
Reviewed March 5, 2012

We started coming to Vivere after my daughter was diagnosed with Coeliac Desease nearly 2 years ago. Although we know its not going to be 100% gluten free, we are happy to trust them that it will mostly be. We have had many Birthday celebrations here and had many other meals here and bought take away and have always been happy with everything we have had. It would be nice if you could make a nice Gluten Free pizza dough instead of a ready made one, but otherwise its all perfect.

“Warm breakfast”
Reviewed February 3, 2012

While i love this restaurant and cant fault it, i was less impressed with breakfast.. We went for breakfast one sunday to The Coffee Club around 10 am, and to be expected it was quite full. So remembering that Vevere does breaky on the weekends and going by a recommedation we decided to try it. Not many people were there, so when we walked in the waitress said "here for breakfast, sit anywhere" with no smile, so we sat down and waited nearly 10 mins before someone came over, and no one had given us a breakfast menu. So when they did give us one we liked the variety on offer and ordered 2 breakfasts. Well, there was plenty on the plate, but it was warm at best. I had asked for my poached eggs not to be runny and well, they over cooked them as there was not much egg left. As i said it was not a hot breakfast and i suppose to be fair they did have the air con blasting away, but our food was warm when we got it. But next time it will be The Coffee Club for me for a hot breakfast.

“Great family Restaurant”
Reviewed November 11, 2011

What a great restaurant this one is! It is not expensive and inside there is plenty of room and it looks stylish. You can get anything from pizza to steak to seafood. The desserts are lovely too. The staff are always friendly and they also do pizza and pasta for take away. There is also a cocktail bar. The only slight problem is the table for 4 people is a little small, esp if you have a pizza to share and other food. But do as we do and request a bigger table. On a nice day it is nice to sit outside.
