“Dessert to Share”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

Breakfast as we were staying in the hotel. Sausage did not measure up to standard but overall the breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

Evening meal. On the night we stayed the restaurant was very busy (Saturday) but we had already booked a table and it was not a problem. Some of the seating seems to be very low, i.e. the setee type. Food reasonable, if not a little expensive for what it is (pub/microwaved food). We had the sharing dessert, too much for us both, but we had fun attempting to eat it and it was nicely presented. Service was efficient and very courteous. Must admit the buffet food looked very tired - approx 8 pm and could have done with replenishing.

Nice that its attached for the hotel and you can have a drink or two without having to worry about getting back.

Bring back the liver and onions they used to serve there!!!!!!

“Cheap night out? seemed a bit naff”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

Staff were pleasant enough but the food on all you can eat buffet looked tired and unappetising. Its a bit chaotic and very family orientated with play areas etc.
Horses for courses I suppose just wasn't to my taste

Went for curry buffet night. Really good value. Shame we had to wait a bit to get seated. You would probably sell more wine if you had a wine list too. It also got a bit annoying being asked of everything was all right every 10 minutes. Will be back again though! :)
