Zott is located in Vreeswijk, a hidden treasure in the ugliness of the Nieuwegein suburbs.
This chef who clearly knows his stuff. He's the son a a butcher, and REALLY knows how to prepare and cut meat, although he does excellent, light fish dishes as well. It is great to find a chef who truly respects the material he works with. Using his Rottisserie he has some special cuts, which are excellent.
A special mention is the wine list, good combinations with the food they serve.
At Zott they really try to please you; change the size of the portions, change combinations, etc. Not something you always find in a restaurant. When in season - try the game. Especially the rabbit stew is too die for, as a side dish.
