Arrived at the apts on 27th June for 2 wks and have to say considering we only paid £843 for two adults and two kids we were really suprised! Lots of steps around apts so not great for buggies or people with walking difficulties, but the apts themselved were huge! Plenty of room for me, the hubby and 3 kids. Also the maid service was excellent, 6 days out of 7. Whole complex is kept very clean and pool area.

Pool decent size and never gets too busy as there is not lots of apts at this complex. Pool bar great and food was lovely. All the hotel staff were very friendly. Yes there is no entertainment, but for the price we did not care. Plenty of places nearby.

I would not say the apts are on top of a steep hill, more like a slight incline, never bothered us. Also round the vorner is the bus stops which took all of us into Las Americas most evenings for 4 euro. About 5 euro back in the evening in a taxi. Bargain!

Lots of nice places to eat, but definatley the best value for money is Charleys! It is down past the big Paradise Park hotel towards the seafront. 3 course meal 7.20 euros and never seen bigger kids meals. We also enjoyed the slowboat 5 chinese restaurant down towards the seafront.

Brilliant family day out is Loro Parque. Kids and adults really enjoyed it esp the shows.

Overall Los Cristianos has plenty to offer families and Las Amercias is five minutes away if you want something more boisterous. Can't fault Los Alisios really at all.

Excellent time,

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday to Los Alisios and we can't fault it at all. We took our 2 children aged 5 and 9 and they loved it the pool is excellent and cleaned every day, every-one tended to leave lilos, balls etc by the pool each day and just shared them throughout the day.

The rooms are basic but very spacious, they were cleaned 6 days out of 7.
All of the staff were very friendly and spoke good english.
No mad dash for the sunbeds ever !!
This hotel is at the top of a hill so not so good if walking is an issue although It only took about 10 mins to stroll to the beach/ main front. but taxis are cheap enough if you really don't fancy the walk.

There was a good mixture of ages during our stay from families to pensioners. There were also some residents, ex pats and Spanish.

There is no kids club here or entertainment but no problem as the Sol Princess Dacil or paradise park have evening entertainment if you want to groove with the kids.

Basically excellent hotel in all areas.

We visited for a week in April. We arrived at 2.00am and noticed how quiet it was. Also, upon arrival we were delighted to find that our room was spacious, clean and it contained everything you need for a self catering hol i.e fridge, kettle, toaster, breakfast bar and table and chairs.

Also, the balcony was v. spacious and overlooked Los Cristianos.

It is a 15 minute walk to the centre but it's very enjoyable too. We were very impressed with Los C and found some amazing restaurants with beautiful, mouthwatering food.

I'd recommend trying Dorada beer - beer of the Canaries. It's only 2 euros a pint and they serve it in frosted glasses. Gorgeous!.

Weather was great. One day cloudy but for the rest of the week it was v. hot.

The staff at Los Alisios were very helpful and friendly and I absolutely loved staying there.

We will be going back. Probably for 2 weeks next year!

Enjoy when you go! :-)

I stayed in these apartments over Easter 2008 and was pleasantly surprised. My first impression when I entered for the first time was how large the apartment was inside. The cleaning by the maids was daily and the pool seemed to be slightly heated. The apartments were slightly off the beaten track but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. There is a netto supermarket 10 mins walk away and a superb steak house round the back of netto. All in all nice tidy apartments near Los Cristianos and Playa.

I read reviews to let me know what I might expect for parting with hard earned cash on a desperately needed holiday. Well - I was let down. The reviews I read were obviously written by very short sighted people or very unlucky people.

Maybe I am too easily pleased or lucky. I was greeted at the Alisios by exceptional staff, a beautiful pool and a huge apartment. Each has a large balcony looking over the enchanting pool area, which is surrounded by a abundance of delicate flowers and mini palm tree's, with a little cafe / store tucked away at the back.

Located at the higher section of a slight hill, the apartments are a welcome gentle stroll to and from the mouth watering restaurants and developing harbour in the centre of Los Cristianos.

The Los Alisios apartments are ideal if you want space, value, security and a great base for a relaxed holiday at a great price.

We booked this holiday in June 2007 for 1 week to celebrate my 40th birthday and to celebrate the New Year. This was our first time away at this time of year and was really looking forward to it. When we arrived at Los Alisios we were told that the room had been flooded and that we would have to go to Las Americas and stay. When I told them that was not going to happen as we had friends staying in Los Christianos whom we were meeting that night for a meal and a celebration and that we did not want to stay in Las Americas otherwise we would have booked that resort. After several debates we waited for the manager of Coral Hotel to arrive and she told us that it was take or leave it, albeit that we had a 2 year old with us. We booked this apartment over the internet but another couple arriving 2 hours after us also with a toddler but travelling with Thomas Cook got their room. We were victimised because we did not have a major tour operatour to answer to. We eventually had to relent and go to Las Americas to another Coral Hotel for 2 nights-and then return to Los Christianos.

Foyer nice and clean - good overall impression on arrival. Reception staff have excellent English. Rather a lot of steps down to pool area with suitcases but lifts in each block. Rooms very spacious but desparately in need of refurbishment. Bedrooms clean and towel/bedding changes excellent. Bathroom and kitchen had seen far better days, especially kitchen units. All rooms had balconies which were wonderful to sit on and overlooking pool. Pool nice and quiet and not much noise at night so got a good night's sleep. Not far to walk to Apollo Centre or Spar.

  • Liked — The peace at night (apart from a late finish at local Spanish Bar).
  • Disliked — The state of the kitchen.
