We stayed at this hotel for 10 days in August this year, we had a great holiday and would recommend this hotel overall. There was the odd workman around doing touch ups, but the main refurbishment is now complete. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, as are the cleaners. ROOMS are cleaned daily and towels/linen changed daily also. FOOD is good, lots of choice, not strict on the so called 'dress code' for dinner, men wear shorts and vest tops. Evening ENTERTAINMENT is quite good for an all inclusive hotel, with a professional show each night. The only problem for us was this was indoors and got very warm, we preferred to drink at the other bar which had an outside terrace. DRINKS were good, no watered down beer, short measures etc..POOLS were nice and clean, not too much of a fight for a sunbed, plus you can use the leisure pool owned by the hotel which is right next door. Snacks available all day at the pool bar, these were kept covered and refridgerated at all times. KIDS CLUB and entertainment was fab, our two boys aged 9 and 13 made lots of friends and were always busy doing something. On Thursdays a big inflatable assault cousre was put in the pool for both the kids and adults to play on, this was very popular and alot of fun!
If you have booked this hotel, don't worry about the building work, it's not a problem, you will want to return, as we will.

I had doubts about the hotel when i was reading previous reviews, but i was amazed with the hotel over all, including staff, the rooms, the food, the pools etc.

Room was excellent with a very nice shower! The maids came every day to clean and give fresh towels which i thought was great. They were very friendly also. The hotel was also very clean and some of the features were lovely.

The food was great, every thing you can think if for breakfast and a good selection for lunch and dinner, all fresh salads, rices and food on the hotplates.

The pools were great as well, the rooftop pool was nice and quiet if you wanted to get away from the kids with luxury sunloungers : ) all other pools were excellent aswell and a just an overall great holiday with this hotel!

Also check out Siam Park - from this otel we paid 30 euro each - great day out!

When we pulled up outside the hotel I was so relieved. After reading some of the awful reviews on here I had been worried despite reassurances from Thomson and the hotel. The staff were really helpful and everywhere looked clean and tidy...we had 2 double rooms booked overlooking the pool and that's what we got. Both had been refurbished and were very comfortable...the beds and linen were great. The rooms were lacking an armchair or 2 and a bin and we passed our thoughts on to the hotel.
The food was ok, a little repetitive but that's what you get with a buffet in my experience. Entertainment wasn't fantastic and I did mention to staff that I thought it started too late at 10pm although the Queen tribute act one night was good. The pools were great espeially the Wellness Centre next door (max couple of minutes walk around the front of the hotel) and you could get a longer any time of day as there were always a few spare.
Siam Park was fantastic and I'd recommend it especially if you have teenagers and we booked on a whale/dolphin watching trip at the harbour and this did not disappoint! Don't book in the hotel via a tour operator as it is far more expensive (we saved over £50!) .
If you have been following these reviews and been worried about your forthcoming trip , then don't...you'll have a lovely time :)

We arrived back early this morning from Paradise Park (11th August 2010) and to be honest I was quite worried that we would be walking into a building site. Apart from the odd builder and a little bit of noise (now and again) we were pleasantly surprised to find our worries were in vain. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a family room, if you want a view then definately ask for a higher floor as our balcony was actually at street level and at the back of the hotel but to be honest i really wasn't bothered what the view was as long as the room was clean and comfortable which it was. The big plus for this hotel has to be the entertainment team of Mozi, Salliah and others. Not only do they work round the clock keeping people entertained but if you say hello or introduce yourself they are incredibly nice and always remember your name. The actual evening entertainment is in what I would describe as a nightclub/disco room which has no air con so gets very warm but there was always something going on to suit various tastes, however the shows don't start until 10pm which I thought was a bit late when you have kids. We stayed all inclusive and to be fair the food is what you expect, fish, meats, pasta, salad bar, chips, deserts. It does get boring after a few days but by the pool there is a little self service bar that does hot dogs, salads, pastries, ice cream, so we skipped lunch a few times and helped ourselves to the salads there. We made use of the hotel minibus which runs into the town/beach this was really handy and runs every half hour or so, it doesn't run at the weekends so be sure to use it during the week. The other restaurant available is the Strelizia Restaurant and we were told it is only open at weekends for food (same food as the main restaurant by the way) but found the bar is open every night and the terrace is a nice place to sit at night and chill, play cards etc. The pools that you see on the website aren't actually on the same site, its a 5 min walk around the corner which is fine but if your all inclusive then you can only get drinks from there, snacks aren't included. The pool within the hotel is fine, not deep, not overcrowded and you get the sun all day, however again don't be fooled by people saying you don't need to get up early to secure a lounger with your towel, YOU DO its the only way to get a spot near the water. All in all we got what we were hoping for, a nice clean hotel with excellent staff who were extremely helpful and a break away from the awful English weather. Hope this helps someone who like me is a bit worried, don't be its fine.

We arrived at the Hotel Paradise Park on the evening of the 23rd of July. having read previous reviews and knowing that there was a modernisation program going on we were aprehensive about what to expect particuarly as some of the pools weren't due to be open until the weekend of our arrival. well we arrived just at the right time. the Hotel was going through a grand re opening with a host of local dignitaries and TV camera's rolling!! our room was spot on, brand new, however the view was poor so we asked for a pool view and got one after 24 hrs which was more than acceptable for what we paid and was changed without fuss. we were more than impressed with all of the facilities, we were all inclusive and the food was good, plenty of choice, well cooked, with a choice of indoor and outdoor restaurants. if you include the use of the Spa next door which was free to use and also inclusive then the choice of pools and sun loungers was fine, even in peak season we never had to rush to reserve sunloungers at silly o'clock. the choice of all inclusive snacks and drinks was good including baguettes with choice of fillings, hot dogs, toasted sandwiches, fruit, beers, wines, cocktails, ice creams, soft drinks, water etc. all of the staff were polite, accomodating, friendly and helpfull. in the evening there were a choice of bars, so if you don't want entertainment and young kids there was another bar to enjoy which was outdoors. OK so if you dug deep you could see that there were still bits that hadn't been finished but they were trivial and didn't spoil the holiday any way. would happily recomend to anyone!!!! you get what you pay for and this exceeded our expectations. we have never been all inclusive before so were concerned we may get bored and miss the variety of going out to eat and drink, this was not the case.

we arrived at paradise park on the 17th of july. We did know that the hotel had its grand opening on the 15th! so we thought everthing would be fine and we were excited about our holiday. On arrival we noticed things were not right. Reception had just re opened and everthing was very dusty. We were given our keys and our rooms were on the 4th floor. we were very dissapointed to find we had no curtains (INFACT THEY WERE LYING ON THE BED) we had no safe and our beds were not made up. We complained and we were shown other rooms but they did not have the pool view we had asked for and were in the same condition!. Next day things were sorted. But we had no safe for the whole two weeks we were there. By the start of the 2nd week things were starting to take shape with the hotel but it was like a building site when we arrived. I dont think paradise park has done it's self any favours doing there refurb in the summer when its busy! On a possitive note its a brilliant hotel and the rooms once everthing was sorted was lovely. All inclusive was brilliant! The food and satff was great. Entertainment spot on and the entertainment staff were just amazing! We will return and am sure everthing will be spot on. One last thing anyone going be sure to make use of the pool towels you pay 10 euro's deposit and get a fresh towel everyday just brill.
