I booked this holiday on the basis of its 4.5 score on trip advisor but was really disappointed. How or why other reviewers have described this place as 'flawless' & 'paradise' is beyond me!
We were apprehensive as soon as we turned up, the place looks in desperate need of an upgrade & is the only hotel where we've had to sign a child safety waiver before getting our key.
Our room was a 2 bedroom in the annexe. To give it its due, it was fairly spacious but also grim & sparse. Our main bedroom was 2 single beds pushed together and our boys bedroom had 2 single beds that looked like camp beds. Like a previous reviewer, our room overlooked the shopping centre at the back of the hotel, including the service road and bins. If we weren't woken at the crack of dawn by delivery vans, we were woken by the bin lorry. On top of that, we were also 'treated' to the music played in the bar of the shopping centre until 12am EVERY night. We didn't get a wink of sleep thanks to this and the way the noise in the concrete building was magnified in every room...we could hear conversations from our neighbours coming through the air vents. The bathroom was very dated and really needed upgrading. Worst of all there was no ventilation at all in the bathroom and it stank of drains!
The food could only be described as adequate at best. We honestly can't say that we enjoyed any of the food, it was more a case of getting by. The meat was like shoe leather, the fruit and vegetables were canned and my son got under cooked chicken on one occasion. The all inclusive drinks finished at 11pm which is something we've never experienced before. The restaurant is like a school canteen - plastic tables and chairs and not a chance of having more than one drink served to you. We've been to lots of all inclusives because it's handy with children so we don't have unrealistic expectations but this place is sadly below par. The food available at the pool bars is disgusting...the cheapest of burgers and dirty salad!
The 'entertainment' was the ubiquitous kids disco followed by bingo and karaoke (not for us!)
I've included some photos before I'm accused of being 'petty'. We booked this holiday as a last minute cheaper holiday and I wished we'd saved our money. For those that go year after year, try somewhere else...you'll be surprised at how much nicer other places are. And if you're thinking of going for the first time, don't bother!

We booked a package holiday for the first time with Jet2 holidays and wasn’t quite sure what to expect as we usually book everything separately. However on arrival we were pleasantly pleased with the location, room, environment, facilities and cleanliness.
We had a room on the fifth floor, one bed apartment with a cot. We have a 15month old and a 6yr old and we managed to arrange the room to suit our children’s sleeping needs. The room had a flat screen TV with the usual UK channels, tea/coffee making facilities, bathroom with no bath but a big shower, two balconies and a mini fridge. We requested a microwave and we had this brought to the room within 3hrs from check in.
Our room was cleaned throughout, beds made up and sheets changed every 3 days and towels changed daily!! It was brilliant! With kids this helped a lot!
We went down to breakfast every morning between 7-8.30 and was helped by friendly staff who always made the children feel comfortable. Breakfast was very good, english hot breakfast, freshly made omelettes of your choice, fried, scrambled and boiled eggs, pancakes for the kids, fresh fruit, English cereal, hot and cold drinks, kids self serve breakfast bar with all sorts of chocolate pastries, doughnuts etc. We enjoyed breakfast everyday and never missed it!
Although the hotel was majority English the pool opened at 9am everyday and queues formed from 8.45 onwards with dads with towels waiting to reserve sun beds!! As soon as the pool was open it was like watching a stampede of dads rushing to put towels on beds and then walk from the saved beds to breakfast! This was really frustrating to watch as we knew we would want some beds later on in the day but we didn’t need them first thing. When we came down to the pool after lunch 100% of the sun beds were reserved with 30% being sat on, 20% in the pool which left at LEAST 50% were reserved with NO ONE to be seen!!!! We have two young children and all we wanted was one or two beds and were ended up leaving our towels on the floor while we took the kids in the pool! Sad and very frustrating! However overall the choice of swimming pools was great with two of them heated so lovely to take the kids in and not too deep.
Kids daily entertainment was excellent and the staff were brilliant, the kids loved it! Evening entertainment was great for the kids with a 8.30pm disco then adult themed entertainment afterwards. Noise could be heard until midnight most nights but not enough to stop kids or ourselves to sleep.
Overall I would recommend this hotel, family friendly, very clean, good food, great service and a lovely warm swimming pool! Worth a stay!

This is an all round great family hotel.
They truly have people at the heart of what they do.
Everyone was so friendly and accommodating.
There are lots of choice of rooms from traditional styles to modern.
Three family pools and two adult only ones.
The food is buffet style with a great selection, it is busy at peak times but we ate out of peak times and it was still just as good.
There are snack bars in three different locations that serve food 10-6.
Pools close and are fenced off at 7.
Lifeguard on at all times as there was last year.
The drinks are all included even Prosecco.
The entertainment is there for adults and children if you want it.
Its 10 minute walk to Los Cristianos or a 10 min bus ride to the other end of Los Cris.
There is a super market 1 minute away.
We didn't experience any unsociable behaviour.
The kids are at the centre of what they do as a business.
There's an excellent photographer on site very good and reasonably priced.
There's a great market on a Sunday and Tuesday 9-2 at the bottom of the road.
Its 5 mins to Siam Water Park but your open tickets before you go you don't have to stipulate a day its cheaper this way.
There are bars and places to ear just over the walkway with lots of choice upstairs with great views to the sea.

Only criticism is there is a bit of a bun fight for beds round the kiddies pool and the one over the road is nicer but deeper. They do have a system for moving bed hogs on though so if a client hasn't been on the bed for an hour they carefully remove the towels and keep them safe so it gives others a chance to enjoy the pool too.

Room tip: You can either have a pool view or street view (but a nice street view). The ones with the street view have sunnier side in the day.

From the waiting fruit juices & personal case valet (top boy Omar, smiling & chatty) on reception, handsome lads attaching the magic bands to eager wrists, to the fascinating waiting staff (the consummate David & co), and the excellent bar staff (another class act, Jose, or my apologies, Jorges?). The place is clean & friendly, the food was consistently excellent in terms of choices (rabbit, chicken schwarma, mexican night, loads of sprouts), and sauces, loads of fresh fruit, granola, coffee not the best but hot & clears off yesterdays' San Miguel with lime, x24. You can eat yourself silly. A special touch, my daughter's birthday monday-the staff in the main restaurant had stuck up the banners that Nanna had given them, decorated the table & left a bottle of fizz in an ice bucket. when we returned to our room, there were biscuits in a fancy wrapper, fruit-juices & a hand-written 'happy birthday!' from the cleaners. we are still so grateful for those special acts, it made my daughter's birthday even more enjoyable.Such personal touches in a busy busy place-that is something that would make it feel right to me to want to either return or recommend again & again. Any worries about the rooms were dispelled as we had room 364 in the 'annex', 3rd floor, just off the busy toddler's pool first up as you exit the restaraunt. The second main pool is quieter with lots of sunbeds.the crystal clear water is bracing but lovely once you're in.Thank-you Paradise Park you are all fantastic!

Just returned from a 4 night stay, and despite the weather not being great, we had a lovely relaxing break. The only problem we had was the food in restaurant was a bit ‘too fancy’ for us. No Margarita pizza’s or chicken nuggets etc for the kids.. so we kind of stuck to snack menu or ate out (which was a Shame as we were all inclusive) .. breakfast was nice though.
Apart from that, All positive, good choice of pools, and different sunbathing areas.. the 2 adult only areas looked lovely.. especially the rooftop one with gorgeous white leather double/triple loungers and beautiful views.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. WiFi in rooms was amazing.
Even got a phone call day before we left from manager to make sure we had enjoyed the holiday(nice touch).
We will be Back.
