Positives as per majority of reviews are: rooms spotless, staff excellent, rooftop solarium lovely albeit weather wasnt and location is ideal. Negatives are: school dinner canteen set up, for me the food was not varied enough and limited for vegetarians - lovely salad and rice dishes but they insist on meat or fish through them...breakfast better than dinner. The pool areas looked dirty and overcrowded lm afraid. We pretty much used as a base and went out at night round corner to wee bars with live entertainment. Would go back to resort but for me this hotel is over priced and over rated by the many reviewers giving it 4/5* score and l think would be unbearable in peak season during the summer months. Not for us.

My partner and I stayed here at the beginning of March. We absolutely couldn't fault it. And trust me, I am a moaner!!
The check in was beautifully smooth, with refreshments in hand incase you had had a lengthy journey. The reception staff were incredible, all smiles and couldn't do enough to help!
We got to our room, where, to my delight we wrre greeted with complimentary champagne and biscuits, as my partner had told them it was my birthday!
The room itself was spotless. Beds firm but comfortable. We had a suite and it was of a good size!
Breakfast, and dinner each day were always wonderful. We weren't always about for lunch, and did note that it wasn't quite the same standard as the other meals, but still something for all eating types to be had.
Naturally this is an island hotel! Fish is prominent on the menu!
They have themed nights, we never felt at a loss for a good meal. We were all inclusive which included all house spirits, lager, wines and prosecco also hot and cold drinks. It isn't possible to get a coffee with the evening meal however, you do have to wait and go to the lounge afterwards, but this was not a problem for us.
Breakfast was incredible and even had honeycomb!!
The hotel is a great location from everything, and whilst it is uphill walking back from town, the walk is comfortable.
The staff are friendly and the guests were welcoming. The resident celebrity Billy absolutely made our stay!
We absolutely will be back! See you soon guys!!

We are a family of 5, 2 adults, 2 teenage boys and an 18 month old, just returned from a 11 night stay in Paradise Park.

Pools - There are 4 pools, a rooftop one which looked really nice, but as it’s adults only we couldn’t use it. There was another adults pool area quite small and secluded which also looked nice. Then there are 2 main family pool areas. The heated one, which was always busy, bordering on overcrowded and rarely a bed free after 10am (be careful with little ones around pool as it’s slippy coz surface has worn off the paving in many places) Bizarrely the other family pool isn’t heated and therefore was really quiet, probably only around half the beds taken, it’s a nicer open environment and should be heated to encourage a more balanced spread of family’s over both pools.
This is no fault of the hotel itself but we had 4 towels and a baby’s wetsuit taken from our sun beds, we tried lost property on a few occasions and reception too but to no avail. Extremely disappointing that someone would stoop so low as to do this.

Dining & Drinks- on the whole the food was average, and very repetitive leading us to eat out on a number of times. The main food hall had a very canteen type feel to it.
The service from the waiters and waitresses was okay in general, but a special mention should go to Diana López who stood out from the others with excellent service with a smile.
Drinks- There are a good range of soft drinks available all day long, juices, fizzy drinks and slush although the more times than not they weren’t working. There is San Miguel on draft in a couple of bars, not available at all bars. The beers is self service which is good as an option, but a table service is something we’re usually accustomed to when on holiday, but this wasn’t the case here.
Some cocktails were all inclusive but the more popular ones if you like, were not.
What is really disappointing is that the all inclusive stops at 11.00pm!! We were rarely out after that time as we had a baby, but if we were traveling as a couple that would be different. As my son said, it should be called “nearly all inclusive”

Rooms - we requested to move rooms (not something we’d usually do) as we couldn’t access our room without going not only down 1 flight of around 10 steps, but also up another flight of steps as well! A building design flaw that could be easily fixed. Why we were placed in this block (block 560-69) I’ll never know as the hotel knew we had a baby.
We were swapped to another room with no access issues but it took 3 days, meaning we couldn’t unpack and settle in. The reception were helpful when dealing with our room change and were very friendly throughout our stay.
All blocks starting 260-69 through to 460-69 have balconies overlooking a service road to back of shopping mall. We struggled to sleep at night from the bars karaoke going on till 12am and were woken in the early hours by deliveries, bottle bank collection etc.
In both rooms there was a awful drain smell in the bathrooms, when mentioned to the reception they sent someone up with a room purifier - not the
solution we were hoping for.
Also there was no ventilation in either bathroom, no window, no fan.
The plugs in the sinks did not work, which made it awkward when washing the baby’s bottles. It was just our room as we spoke to 2 other guests and they said the same.
Another thing that we didn’t like was the fact that in both rooms we only had 2 single beds pushed together, this is simply not good enough.

Entertainment- we found that the hotel catered mainly for kids up until around the age of 12. We have 2 teenagers and there was nothing aimed at them. In other hotels we’ve stayed in the animation team have always been more present, and have always done a daily song/dance by the pool, this lifts the atmosphere and gets everyone involved, there was nothing like this. Having entertainment for our kids is a major thing when going on holiday and I feel they lack catering, connection and activities for teenagers, and adults too for that matter, it is something that really lets this hotel down.
The evening entertainment was a kids mini disco, followed by different entertainers coming in, this was very mixed in quality. The best act was the female magicians and Ed Sheran tribute who were both very good. The rest were rather lacking.
Be prepared to get there early though for a seat, as like the pools, there aren’t enough seats for the amount of people that are there.

Location - the hotel is way way back in the resort located at the top of a hill, not too bad walking in, but hard after a day on the beach. It takes around 15mins to the beach, and another 10 mins again into the main beach front area.
There is a free mini bus every 30mins from the hotel that runs to the beach and back, but beware if you’re not there early on the return rides you may not get a seat (speaking from experience)

In conclusion I’d say this hotel would be suitable for family’s IF they get a room with a pool view, have children under 12, and are not concerned about being in a good location.
