We asked for a room on the pool side and we have got it, but like beside the aircondition machine, so it was terrible noisy. We asked for an other room, but we could have had it 2 days before departure.

Stayed from 18th to 28Feb had a premier room on 14th Floor.

Views both day and night were excellent no noise whatsoever. Room kept clean. stayed all inclusive food good variety and choice was excellent all times.
The restaurant opening times were good upto 10-30 for breakfast lunch was 1 till 3 when we stayed for lunch and dinner till 9-30. drinks were ok some food was repeated over the holiday but choice compensated for this.
entertainment was good and varied in the evening with no repetition of professional acts throughout
lifeguard on duty throughout the day who policed the sun beds very well as the mattresses were in short supply.
He policed it so well 1 lady even took her mattress up to her room to ensue she got one and 1 couple up on the Terrace put the table, mattresses, two chairs umbrella stand and umbrella on top of the sunbeds and tied them all together so they didn't loose them when going for food etc. no they were from UK
Flew with Jet 2 Holidays ample leg space on board food was ok and the wife enjoys the extra luggage allowance but still gets close to the limit

Room Tip: Upper floors and front of hotel premier rooms have plenty of space but balconies small

just back from a 10 day stay and decided while we were there that we would not be going back. Have no fault with our room ( we were given room 1403 after I requested a pool view by telephone 2 weeks before arriving). Check-in however is very slow and you can be waiting a long time. Reception always seems to be busy. Last year we had to purchase mattresses (which we did on a few occasions by paying 1 euro 50 cents each) and had no problem with this.....however this year the mattresses were free and there are not enough mattresses for all the sunbeds which resulted in a mad dive for them when the Lifeguard arrived to dish them out at 9 a.m. One morning we left our sunbeds and mattresses ( covered with our towels) at exactly 9.35 a.m. to go for Breakfast and on our return at 9.55 a.m. ( I know this for a fact because we timed ourselves) we found that our mattresses had disappeared. On speaking to the Lifeguard as to why our mattresses had been removed as we had only been gone 20 minutes for breakfast his reply was "for me it was 30 minutes". All I can say is he must have been wearing a Mickey Mouse watch because apart from the fact that I know we were definitely only gone 20 minutes, the Lifeguard was busy talking to the Pool Cleaner with his back to us when we left and couldn't possibly have been checking the time we were away. I duly went and reported this matter to the Duty Manager Silvia Zamora who listened to my complaint, asked for my room number.........and that was the last I heard of the matter. How on earth are you supposed to lie poolside all day and go for meals in the Hotel and hold on to your mattress????? You have all been warned!!!! I watched countless times when the Lifeguard removed mattresses from sunbeds (often prompted by disgruntled people who didn't have one). Some occasions I admit were justified as they were gone for more than an hour, but a lot of the time the people were only going for a meal within the Hotel. My second complaint to the Hotel was when my Key Card was deactivated after a week in the Hotel ( we were checked in for 10 days). This matter came to light when we went to use the Toilets and our Cards wouldn't work and we also went to our room to try to gain entry but again the card wouldn't work.......It's a good job we hadn't left it too late to go to the toilet!!!! Can't speak about the Entertainment as we were outwith the Hotel every night. As for the food - it was not to my taste as I am a bit of a fussy eater but my husband managed to satisfy himself most days with what was on offer. Our last breakfast was a bit of a shambles as we struggled to get a table and it seemed as if the Hotel was possibly short staffed as there were dirty tables piled with dirty dishes everywhere and the staff could not keep up with it all........which surprised us because they were usually very efficient at clearing up

We were a group of Four adults who stayed at the hotel 25/02 - 04/03/2014.On our arrival we spoke to Quality Manager Silvia and requested a reserved table for our friend's birthday for the following evening meal, in addition we asked if a birthday cake could be provided (which we would pay for). The Management provided not only a reserved table (dressed with a beautiful white tablecloth) but Champagne and a stunning cake on the hotel's compliments, in addition to previously providing a bottle of Champagne to enjoy earlier that morning whilst we were lazing around the pool. In addition to this they found out my Husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary during the holiday and also provided (to our surprise) a bottle of Champagne for my Husband and I, along with our friends, to enjoy..... First class service from warm, friendly staff who wish to please (from cleaners to bar staff, waiters and management) in their aim to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Our room (10th floor) was clean - credit to the housekeeping staff who on a daily basis kept our room immaculate - it was also spacious and provided a magnificent view of sea & mountains... The food was varied, plentiful and delicious: Waiters and Chefs attentive and always smiling...The pool area is kept clean at all times, but we also had to join the queue 8am each morning to obtain a sunbed, waiting until 9am to join the queue to obtain a sunbed cushion from the (only one staff member found to be unfriendly) Lifeguard. Sadly, the only downfall of the stay was the sunbed situation: After having to queue for the above, you then had to ensure you did not leave your sunbed for no longer than half hour or the Lifeguard would remove your cushion and pass it on to someone who did not have a cushion,as they did not have sufficient cushions for the amount of sunbeds that were available - Tip: To make stay pefect, please provide ample cushions per sunbed quota. Apart from the sunbed quibble (which did not spoil our holiday) we will definitely be staying again at the hotel and look forward to our return to Sol Princesa Dacil.

Room Tip: Select room with a lounge - very spacious.

Stayed here last week on a Bed & Breakfast basis and overall am very happy I did. The location is very good, the staff are friendly and co-operative, our room on floor 15 was clean spacious and with a terrific view of the resort. As a low budget option this hotel represents great value for money.

Room Tip: the top 3 floors are so much better than the lower ones

Just got back after a weeks stay 18/02/14.You need to choose a superior room on floors 13-- 14 overlooking the pool area, the difference in room size and the quality of room is worth paying that bit extra. The food what can i say it was ok the breakfast wasn't worth getting up for the only good thing about it was the bread which was lovely i would say there is a microwave if you want your food to be hot otherwise it was cold, the selection of the sweet section was poor same every night which was good for me really as i would of normally eaten my fair share but stuck to fruit which isn't a bad thing there was a large selection of food but to be honest nothing really to write home about i'm sorry to sound negative but for me and my family we wouldn't go back.the entertainment was poor it was mostly about audience participation on a good note staff very helpful and friendly.Lastly we we're halfboard felt that to charge 1 euro 70 for a small bottle of water with your evening meal was a bit excessive .

Room Tip: choose a superior room overlooking the pool
