Was disappointed that no fridge or kettle available as standard in rooms, as this usually a pretty standard facility these days. Children's area gave concerns for safety as the trampoline was upside down and sharp edges hazardous. The flinstones figurines on walls were metal and one was curling off the wall facing into the play area ,this was sharp and pointed again hazardous . The children's pool had access only by concrete steps which was not suitable for safe access by small children , the majority of pools these days have a graduated access. High chairs were not cleaned regularly in the restaurant and not all had straps to use. We were on the pool side which is noisy late at night with entertainment , I think that if you request a cot then thought should be guven to putting you on the other side of the hotel which is quieter . Staff were friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean but the hotel is old and tired .

Myself and my parner stayed at this hotel in May, I was a bit aprehensive after reading a few negative comments on here, but the only fault we found with the hotel is that the beds was too hard.
Our room was 412 on the 4th floor, it was a room above the hotel entrance, but we could still see the sea from the balcony and with lovely views of the hills. It was very spacious, clean and more than enough wardrobe space. We was B&B and ate breakfast every morning, it was the same foods every day, but there was enough variety to mix and match each day. The pool area was clean but compared to the size of the hotel, there did not seem to be enough sun loungers, although we did not spend much time round the pool - only for a drink after a day of adventuring or lazing on the beach. The location of the hotel was fantastic, near to restaurants and entertainment and was located just off the main road, but we heard no noise from the traffic. There was no air conditioning in our room, but it was not needed, there was also a bedroom ceiling fan, which we had on all night for the first few days, but then we got acclimatised to the weather. All in all.... A fantastic holiday and will definately return.

Room Tip: Our room was 412 and it was exceptionally clean and spacious.

Just back from a 2week half board stay. We had a twin room with lounge on the 12th floor which was really very spacious and had a nice view of the beach and harbour. The maid was in everyday bed and towels changed reguarly, what let this hotel down for me was the food which as far as im concerend was terrrible and always cold.
There is also no courtesy room so if u've a late flight you have to use the shower in the toilets beside the pool which isnt ideal.
If you want to use the laundry room its 5euro for the washing machine (including soap powder &softener takes 30mins) and its 5euro for the dryer (takes 45mins).
The bus stop outside the hotel is for tour buses you have to walk up past the shops to the termines any bus starting with a 4 takes you to las americas and its 1.45euro its the same price to costa adeje.
I'd only go back to this hotel if it was on a b&b basis as you cant go wrong with toast

Room Tip: High floors have nice views

This hotel is well kept and super clean. The choice of food is awesome and the Salad is simply the best ! The range of drinks will satisfy anyone's tipple. The staff are very helpful and entertaining. The entertainers work very hard with the adults and the especially the children. I personally enjoyed the two piece band and the Jack Sparrow act with the Canarian balls. The hotel is located ideally near to the beach and the port, Dacil is only a 5 Euro taxi ride from Las Americas. A taxi from the airport should be around 20 euros. The only criticism I have of this 3 star hotel that is certainly punching as a 4 star is that internet access is expensive and should be free with an all inclusive package.

When we booked this holiday we were a little nervous as some people had some negative reviews for this Hotel. We had been here about 8 years ago and it was looking and feeling very tired, the food was not so great, the rooms not so great etc. However, now it is a lot better, the rooms have clearly improved, the bathrooms refurbished. The food we found to be a little more than OK, we found different food every day and the quality was as equal to any 3 star hotel we have ever stayed at.
The animation team worked hard to please the kids and the evening entertainment was generally OK.
To echo other peoples reviews, we found the beds a bit hard and sometimes they could have more staff at busy times at the outside bar, with them having a mix of half board/all inclusive, I think they need to find a better way of serving people during the day.

Room Tip: Superior rooms are for couples only, family rooms get a bit tight when there is more than one extra...

Just back from 1 weeks break on honeymoon at the Princesa Dacil. I e-mailed the hotel a few months before arriving to ask for a few treats for my new wife. On arrival we were upgraded to a superior room on the 14th floor [this upgrade would have cost 20 Euros per night] they laid on some treats and were very welcoming.
The hotel is well laid out with all the usual trimmings of a 3star hotel. It has a nice pool area with bar where you can also get snacks made to order. The rooms are clean and the linen and towels changed daily. The food is as you would expect from a 3star hotel with a fair choice,if anything the food could do with being a bit hotter, but you will find something to suit all The staff are helpful and friendly and respond well when you speak to them in Spanish even if its a bit iffy in my case anyway. The hotel is a short walk to the main shops, bars and restaurants, but it is slightly uphill on the way back. The entertainment staff work hard to amuse everyone and as I have said before it is a thankless task but there is a choice of entertainment on offer outside the hotel in the local bars. If you are on a late checkout let the reception know the day before and for 20 Euros you can stay in the room until pick up time if available,,money well spent in our case. I would recommend this hotel and say go and enjoy your stay here....

Room Tip: We stayed on the 14th floor, but these rooms usually have a surcharge against them, but the views are...
