Enjoyed good tapas in a Spanish setting, not pressurised. Host chose the wine which was excellent. Tapas, wine and bread came to 30€ for two really cannot complain but would recommend.

We had to search a bit before we found the place. Take the main road (direction PLA) from the church and turn right in the middle into a small street. According to the reviews it's a great place to eat, and I agree.
Carlos greeted us very friendly. We had the whole place to ourselves, and sat on the terrace. We choose some nice tapas dishes. Carlos did not (want to?) speak english, that was kind of charming. After finishing the dishes Carlos served us dessert. Some sort of icepie, very nice.

The first time we paused outside this restaurant to browse the menu, a Spanish patron said "If you like it, you pay. If you don't like it, I'll pay". Well, after a fantastic meal, we were pleased to pay and have been going back ever since. We stayed in Los Cristianos for 3 months in 2008 and ate here 3 or 4 times per week. Every time we visit Tenerife, Tasca Andaluza is first on the list - fresh food, lovingly prepared and served with pride by Carlos and his wife. The menu is comprehensive but also look for the specials on the blackboard - Pulpo a la Gallega (Galcian style octopus) is my absolute favourite but there are always many others. They also serve steaks, paella and much more. House wines are great value and better than many of the "name" wines you'll find elsewhere. I can't fault anything - even the toilets are immaculate (and that's always a good sign!).

We were told about this bar when we were in Tenerife last year as a place that locals went too rather than tourists but did not visit. Thought we would give it a go this time and so glad we did.

Without a doubt superb value for money tapas and snacks. Small but nice location just off the main drag. Proper tablecloths and very comfortable seating made it a real pleasure. Very happy to serve us a snack even though it was in the evening. My dear lady who is much fussier than me had a beef boccadillo and was delighted at how good it was.

Will be our first port of call when we return later in the year

Having experienced tapas bars from various regions of Spain, this one takes a lot of beating! Excellent selection. We choose a selection of five plus bread and Ali oli, with a bottle of white wine. Firstly the wine was brilliant, chosen by the owner. Each tapas was superbly presented and tasted amazing. Good size proportion! Total bill 36€ overall a brilliant dining experiance, excellent host? In a very traditional Spanish bar! We shall definitely return. thank you for the experience.
