Most restaurants in LC serve Tapas, although too many offer the Tapas Feast, usually costing 20-25 euros, which is too much for my wife and I to eat. Here you can order as much or as little as you like and if you're still hungry order more. Carlos is great, and for a change if you try to speak Spanish he speaks it back to you. The food is freshly prepared and tasty and the house wine is great value. A refreshing change from the restaurants offering the same long intentional menu you see all over LC. Try the scrambled eggs with Aparagus and prawns, usually served bigger than a tapas so good to share. Go inside to watch the TV and outside to watch the people going by.

If you fancy a day off from the restaurants catering for only tourists this is the place to go.
The restaurant is very popular with local people and tourists alike. Friendly service from a guy whose English is as good as my Spanish (not great) but did appreciate our basic attempts to speak Spanish.
Food was traditional and service charming, the Sangria mixed on the bar in front of you (not from a carton) tasted great. Excellent value for money in a friendly atmosphere and a Spanish lesson thrown in for free.

We visited here twice during our recent holiday. Fist time we had a selection of the tapas typical of the Seville area.(Owners originated from there). Very tasty and reasonable price. Second time we had fresh fillet of fish served with a tomato, pepper and onion sauce - wife's favourite. Located in a side street just off the main tourist street and well worth a visit

thjs is what you search for on holiday...a genuine experience of food cooked for Spanish people by spanish pepale with an understanding of the expectations of the holiday visitor.

excellent food to taste at good value and with just some lovely dishes to choose from. good local wine served by a guy who rememebrs you at the next visit, and waves to you when you walk by..though he speaks barely any English!

We went for dinner as a family of 3 with a 9 year old, I lived in Andalucia when I was younger and this is exactly the same as many great bars I visited, it is not a fake tourist gimmick but a genuine tapas bar run by a couple from Seville. We decided to have a selection of tapas for our dinner although there are main meals as well, our host could not have been more welcoming and helpful, he gave us advice on what to choose and looked after us superbly. The house wine was a Rioja and one of the nicest I have had for a long time, the white wine was lovely too. The tapas were all freshly cooked the pulpo con salsa (octopus in sauce) was divine and even my fish-hating husband ate it, we also had boquerones (really fresh and tasty) and great homemade meatballs. Lovely atmosphere with pata negra hams hanging from the ceiling. There are outside seats although we sat inside. Definitely an authentic, genuine restaurant with lovely food, very different from some of the tourist traps on the front. And no one outside pestering you to go in either which is another reason for going! With a bottle of red, meals and coffee for 3, glass of white, beer and cokes came to about 60 euros (but we ordered way too many tapas - to be fair he did tell us we were getting a lot but we insisted!) Worth every penny but you could have eaten there for much less if you weren't as greedy!
