“Our favourite!”
Reviewed April 14, 2013 via mobile

We always look forward to Sal Negra when we visit Los Cristianos. We share a tapas selection with bread and wine at lunch time. Bliss!!! Prawn kebabs excellent. A vibrant and young staff who know how to cook fresh tasty food. We see many fellow UK tourists pass bye and wish they would take the plunge.! Service friendly and efficient every time. Great value and delicious food! We love it.

“Good Food and a Wonderful View”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

We were given a warm welcome and shown to our table which we had booked in advance. We enjoyed several different plates of food all of which were very tasty. The waitress was very attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed. Add to that an amazing view over the beach and sea and we had an evening to remember. We will definitely return here again.

“Best food in Los Cristianos”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

Excellent location above the Los Cristianos beach. It is worth of climbing up from the beach promenade. Perfect place to watch the sunset and have very tasty food. If you book beforehand or come early enough you can have a table with a sea view.

We came here twice and enjoyed both times very tasty and special tapas/meals with nice Ribera del Duero wine. Ordering wine from the huge wooden menu lifted onto your table was fun. It is interesting how many different tapas you can find in Tenerife alone! The service was very friendly and quick, the "camareras" beautiful.

“Lovely food, great atmosphere”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

We ate here 3 times - twice for lunch and once for dinner. It was recommended to us by one of the staff at our apartments when we asked for a restaurant serving Spanish cuisine.

The first time we had two of the tapas which turned out to be massive we struggled to eat it all. The second time I had the mixed fried fish and my husband had the clams, again excellent. When we went for dinner we shared the Rice marinera for €24 - it was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and prices very reasonable. Also great views over the beach if you can manage to get a window seat.

“Must visit - Sal Negra Tapas and Wine Los Cristianos”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

This restaurant is easily missed by tourists if they stick to the beach promenade and don't 'look up' to the restaurants above Caribe Disco and other less-good bars/restaurants.
Excellent food for very good value. Would recommend
'Arroz Marinara' - 24 euros for 2 people - that's half the price of most run-of-the-mill paellas in los cristianos and las americas.
Also - their 'mixto tapas' - a huge plate of tapas for 12 euros that 2-3 people can share - excellent.
Finally - their 'scotadito' - thinly sliced roast beef with rocket, parmesan and tomato - fabulous.
Sal Negra - has doubled their covers since our last visit 2yrs ago - and with the food this good that's no surprise.
