This is a typically Spanish restaurant serving fabuloous food. You cannot normally book so you go along, have a drink & wait. The staff are very efficient at moving the crowds so don't be put off if it looks full. Plenty of space outside when weather gets better. The only down side is that they close during the height of summer. If not the best, one of two in Los Crisitianos. It is our normal haunt on Christmas Eve. Don't be surprised to see mashed potatoes on the menu, it looks simple but is excellent.

We ate here as it was listed in the AA guide to Tenerife. My fillet steak was great, although the accompanying veg looked like they came out of a tin. The pork dish my wife ordered came covered in gravy and looked like something we had for a school dinner! The waiters seemed most uninterested and at over 40 Euros for effectively 2 mains and a couple of drinks it seemed very poor value compared to other excellent restaurants on the island. We're hardly food snobs but can't understand the excellent reviews from other guests.

This is the 2nd time we have eaten at this restaurant and have to say we had a lovely meal. We booked a table as the restaurant is fairly small and did not want to eat outside as January can sometimes be a tad chilly at night for al fresco dining.

As this is a family run business they do not tend to have many waiters - the norm is 2 and they work very hard.

I will say that the menu is quite limited but the food we have had there has been top notch. Steak is not normaly my choice of food when eating our (my feelings are anyone can fling a steak on the grill and cook it) but we both chose steak (fillet). The quality was superb and the mash potatoes - OMG they are just to die for. The same for their Garlic Butter.

Had a lovely bottle of red - I sure we had red, the local one Vina Norte. It was lush.

We never have a starter or a sweet just normaly to full.

Restaurant can be a little difficult to find for some - it is just off the beach prom under the bridge and up the steps near the harbour.

This restaurant was recomended to us a couple of years ago and what a find it is.

Will most certainly visit there again next time we are in Tenerife.

Excellent restaurant been catering to holiday makers since 1979 and is still maintaining a very high standard of service and food. I was particularly impressed that they did not increase their prices for New Years Eve as so many establishments do. Really good for steak and fish. All at reasonably prices and with a good wine list
