we were recommended this place by an excursions guy, and I so glad we went! The food was delicious, we shared tapas and a mixed grill between 5 of us and found that to be plenty. The service was quick, and to top it all off there is a sea view so it was just delightful to eat there. Thoroughly recommended.

We were really surprised by this restaurant. The service was brilliant, the food was delicious as well as outstanding value and the atmosphere was fantastic - we ended up eating here twice during our stay!

my wife & i visited watermelon on a recent trip to tenerife.we went without booking we walked in & asked if they could do a table for 2. we were told by a very nice ,friendly & polite young lady that they could & would we like to have a see view.despite it being night we decided that we would.immediatly upon seating us our hostess asked if we would like to order drinks.we decided that since it was our holiday we would order from the extensive cocktail menu.i ordered a banana-colada & my wife ordered a tequila sunrise.my wife announced that she wasnt very hungry so she would be eating light she then ordered the pork & beef mixed kebab.( oops !!! see the photograph ). i ordered the king prawn kebab.our drinks came & they looked & tasted beautiful.when the food came that was when my wife went into shock at seeing the kebab.it was huge & hung on a skewer that was about 18 inches long & packed with pork,beef & peppers this before the salad,potato wedges on the plate.my prawn kebabs came on 3 or 4 more subtle skewers with juicy plump prawns with potato wedges & salad.we both thouroughly enjoyed despite one of us taking much longer than the other.
In summary great cocktail list & even better very extensive food menu. but if you not hungry dont have the mixed kebab.the cocktails are made with fresh fruit Ie; a whole banana in the banana-colada. the views are great especially in the days. and finally the staff are very friendly & helpful.

We recently dined here early evening and started with cocktails which were great with the nice view over the sea.
We shared a few starters which also were nice.
Main course was good too so all round were very happy and look forward to going again.
Not enough space for desserts the meals are quite big.
Staff and service were good well done keep it up.

The staff at the Watermelon were hard working, friendly and helpful.
The drinks were fairly priced (sangria was tasty)
Food was delicious.

We would go back and also would recommend to friends and family.
