We stopped in this small restaurant on the sea front for breakfast which we enjoyed very much and upon payment the waiter gave us a menu for their 3 course evening meal for 8.95 euros. As the service and food was excellent we decided to go the next evening. We went with the idea that the meal would be limited on portion size in relation to the price but to our amazement we could not have been more wrong. Our family of five arrived at 9 pm to find a full restaurant (they have around 40 covers) and we were about to go elsewhere when one of the waiters who had served us the previous day remembered us and asked if we would like to wait for a table as he said some customers were close to finishing. Having enjoyed eating there previously and as it was full (which I feel is always a good sign) we said we would wait so the waiter led us to a public seat in front of the restaurant and offered us complimentary drinks of wine or sangria which we duly accepted. After about 10 minutes a table became available so we moved and ordered from the 3 course menu although there was plenty more specials and another menu to suit all tastes. There was a choice of about 6 or 7 starters and main courses with 4 or 5 choices of sweets. We were surprised when the starters came out as to their size but proof of the pudding is in the eating and none of us were disappointed as they were delicious(my father who is 77 years old said it was the best prawn cocktail he had ever tasted and believe me he has eaten quite a few.Our main courses were just as mouth watering too when the steaks and fish meals arrived. The side salad was very fresh and the canarian potatoes were to die for. After enjoying the first two courses we still had the sweets to contend with and guess what, they were excellent too. This was without doubt the best value for money meal that anyone could ever want and to top it all off the waiter service was second to none as anything we wanted was no trouble at all.The drinks too were not expensive from the wine, cocktails and beer which was just 95 cents a pint.We ate there three times in all and on one occasion an elderly Irish couple said the restaurant could not be beaten and he had been enjoying it's service for 10 years. We will definitely be revisiting asap. All in all a 5 star establishment.

We go to Tenerife twice a year and always visit Abora 1 on most days whether for evening dinner or snacks. Food is excellent. Staff are very friendly and most helpful. Looking forward to seeing them all in November

this was our first time in tenerife. we was there for 10 days, we ate at abora 1 on 7 occasions and we couldnt fault anything. food, service, and the atmosphere was great. would recommend abora 1 everytime. we tried something different everytime we ate there, from full english breakfast to tapas which for 20 euros for 2 people was great value for money. not to mention it was only 0.95 euros for a pint of beer. thanks again guys.

We ate 4 times in one week at Abora 1 ( the one on the left) fantastic food and value. The Fish platter at 9.95 e per person is superb, the Grilled king Prawns a couple of euros more but still excellent value. The star of the show though is their Chateaubriand flamed at the table and at 29.95 e for two people is outstanding. All the meals came with a lovely mixed salad and we chose those fantastic Canarian potatoes in preference to chips. The staff were so pleasant and welcoming - Don't miss it !
