Myself and 2 friends have just returned from Los Cristianos. The town has many restaurants all serving the same food. There are only a couple of great restaurants and this is one.
Basque region food with many tapas items also. We requested cod stuffed peppers and they specially made them for us the following night. It is the little touches that I like about their cooking, good wild mushrooms, a hint of the right spice, good goats cheese etc etc, just good all round. Service is also very good especially by Havier. The trouble is these places do not always survive. I am returning in Jan 2013 and this will be one of my first places to look for.

First night in town we went to this restaurant. Husband and I both had fish - which was superb! Childen had children's menu which actually offered decent food (calamares, fresh fish). Nice soup also.

Second time we had dinner here we had the paella - another great dish!

Yes, it's a little pricier than meny other places, but it surely makes up for it in value.

Very friendly staff. Excellent views and atmosphere.

Had the paella, which was quite outstanding. My son's garlic chicken was also outstanding. Excellent children's menu because it wasn't the usual 'frozen nuggets and chips' crap, all appeared homemade. Very friendly staff. Excellent views and atmosphere. Recommended.

Staff were so pleasant and genuinely helpful, recommending wine when asked. Suggesting that maybe we may have orederd too much food; we hadn't ;-). The fresh local fish with potatoes and vegetables didn't sound very exciting but it tasted amazing - best meal of the holiday and one of the best meals ever! We decided that we had to have a second night there during our holiday.
