We go back at least once every time we go to Tenerife. To the Terrible reviewers, it says something when there's only 8 of you out of over 400! For a start it's a basic fish restaurant, not a posh Michelin star restaurant. It's favoured by locals and many tourists as it offers fresh fish caught on the day and serves traditional Tenerife food. For those of you who don't know, Canarian Potatoes are supposed to be cooked with salt, hence why there maybe a bit of salt on them, but like the McDonald's fries your used to. This is why you have it with the mojo sauce! It's simple food, cooked well and people know what they are getting that's why so many people like it and keep going back. If you don't like a bit of culture, there's a Burger King across the square

Great place to try a traditional Canarian meal. The prices used to be lower some while ago, not its a bit higher, but still between 7 and 9 euro per plate. Take 3 or 4 plates for 2 persons and try different food. Beter come right after 6 pm, so you will not need to wait a free table.

Our second night in Los Cris and we found ourselves in this restaurant. The food wasn't too good, my cuttle fish was a little undercooked and the Canarian potatoes were not much better either, being quite cold, I felt that they were as if they had been left overs from the lunch service. Hubbies Fish of the day was grey and grilled to an inch of its life. In all we left the meal, paid up and had a steak in The House. I can't think what has happened with this restaurant, it's simply not as it was a couple of years ago. We had three quite bad meals on the trot now and well give it a miss next time. One saving grace was that the house red wine was good.....this never alters.

Look for the Pharmacy sign and you will see the little alley with the El Cine sign in blue.
Full of locals which is always a good sign, this was recommended by the Staff from Dail Fountain and it proved to be excellent food at a very good price, had the bread to start followed by Hake
Friendly staff and so busy with lots of people walking by, pricing was reasonable €23 Euro for the two of us and this included a Beer and a wine. Will go back next time.
