Look for the Pharmacy sign and you will see the little alley with the El Cine sign in blue.
Full of locals which is always a good sign, this was recommended by the Staff from Dail Fountain and it proved to be excellent food at a very good price, had the bread to start followed by Hake
Friendly staff and so busy with lots of people walking by, pricing was reasonable €23 Euro for the two of us and this included a Beer and a wine. Will go back next time.

Returning to Tenerife on holiday it is a must to visit El Cine. The food is amazing especially the chicken wings, canarian potatoes and onion and tomato salad. For 24 years I have visited Tenerife and could not be there without going to El Cine. Friendly staff, efficient service and great food. Situated in a wee alley way in the pedestrian area in front of the old port next to the pharmacia. Don´t worry if there is a queue as the staff are very swift and you won´t wait long or regret going there.

El Cine (the old cinema in Los Cristianos) came highly recommended to us. We have eaten here twice this year while in Los Cristianos. It is hidden up a small back alley, but easy to spot the queue spilling out onto the promenade! Not sure you can reserve a table so get there just after 12 noon.

Menu has approx 8 items on it, not a problem, the fish/seafood is very fresh. Lovely fillet of Hake, sardines, etc. Also has a Canarian potatoes and a salad. Wine very reasonable and very gluggable.

Total bill for 3 of us was £30 Euros and that included a bottle of white wine and a bottle of still water.

A weird, unassuming place recommended to us by one of our hotel staff. Walking up from the car park at the Los Cristianos port if you blink you'll miss it but it's just up on the left once you hit the other beach walking into LC itself.

However, had a lovely simple meal, efficient service. They give you bread which you're charged 60c per roll for which they automatically deliver when you sit down. I had a lovely pan-friend fillet of hake with Canarian potatoes and hubby had the steak (rare - really does mean rare) with fries but he said the steak was excellent with a lovely subtle pepper sauce. The bread, mains, sides and drinks came to 35 euros. Don't expect bling or anything posh, many people popped their head round and promptly disappeared but for something a little different tucked behind an alley it's very good, certainly popular with locals.

It's also an actual cinema, we couldn't quite work out how they played movies but it's currently closed for a couple of weeks.

We were recommended to Elcine by one of the bar owners. Without directions we would never have it. The place was full of locals which I think is always a good sign. Although the menu is limited everything was well cooked and extremely good value for money. We shall definitely go back as long as we can find it!!
