When we arrived at this hotel it was breathtaking. We were greeted with a staff who was always very helpful and friendly though out our stay, they even knew our names by the time we left. The hotel was quite but still had many things to do. When we did want to leave the hotel the staff always gave great recommendations and arranged for us to get there very quickly. Our room was amazing, it was a very nice size for two people and all of our luggage, it had big fluffy beds, nice shower with great pressure, and an even better view of the beach witch is just a stones throw away. We also tried out the restaurant and spa which both were far beyond incredible. The hotel pool was just as nice and we spent just about every afternoon there. When I go back to Mykonos there will be no questions to where I will stay and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Exceptional staff at this hotel. Everyone was welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived. The hotel room was amazing - stunning views over looking the ocean. We travelled for 8 days in the islands and along with it being our best hotel, we had the best meal of our trip there. Would definately recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very close to the beach (2 mins walk). The service was great, the breakfast was very good as well.

We stayed in a room with a fantastic view over the sea for 2 nights.

These 2 nights were great, but on the last night we had to move to another room since we hadn't book in advance and the hotel was fully booked.

The second room was a very basic and noisy. When I complained about all the noise they didn't charge us for the room but the point is that I didn't get any asleep that night and I don't think a 5-star hotel should rent out such rooms.

I'm sure if you book in advance you wouldn't have such problems. So my rating is for the first room and not the second!

The other thing is that you have to pay for internet access which is not great after paying so much for the room!

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. It was quiet, yet close to the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We didn't get to try the restaurant, but the breakfast buffet was great. The layout of the hotel rooms was unique, but made for an occasional "oops" as one strolled fancy-free through the room and gave the lower room a view.

Would definitely return to this hotel if we visit Mykonos again.

The hotel is perfect from the minute you arrive on the island. My boyfriend and I labored over where to stay. We found The Ambassador off of Google Maps and checked out the website. There are 3 other Myconian hotels on the island, but if/when we go back, we will still stay at the Ambassador.

The communication via welcome email before departing on our trip and the airport pick up were perfect. The service once arriving to the hotel was out of this world perfect from every member of the staff. The breakfast in the morning was lovely, and the dinner in the evening is elegant from every angle- food, service and presentation.

It is located near the beach and literally a 2 min walk. The view of the sea and the area from the balconies is overwhelmingly beautiful and the restaurants along the beach were very reasonably priced as well as the convenience stores making this the perfect vacation spot.

On the website, I felt the hotel was going to be bigger than it actually was, but it couldn't have been more perfect. I would suggest traveling in May before the high tourist season hits, rhe weather was perfect for us.

We also rented a car and went all over the island looking at different beaches. We recommend the two on the North side of the island- very secluded but it's all part of the experience.

The town of Mykonos is lovely to walk through but we would suggest not eating at the restaurants near the water's edge, they were over priced and the food was very average. The restaurants on the beach near the hotel were all excellent- we got to try a different one everyday! My favorite was the one (if your back is to the water and you're looking at the small boardwalk) it is all the way to the left but not the one that is off the beach. It has glass doors that are open to the water during the warm season and the food and service was delightful.

We both hope to return very soon as every part of the experience, especially the Ambassador, was absolutely fantastic! We hope you all enjoy it as well,.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and wish we had stayed longer. Our room overlooked the water and waking up to the sunrise each morning is something I could definately get used to. The rooms themselves were very spacious and the bed was comfortable (something we found was quite rare in our travels accross Europe). The facilities in the hotel complex were top notch, with a large swimming pool surrounded by lounge chairs, pool bar, gym and tennis court. You really didn't even need to leave the hotel. However, when leaving the hotel to explore the island, the recption staff were more than happy to arrange scooter or car hire from the local hire company. Breakfast was great with an huge buffet selection. Just about everything you could think of was there from pancakes, bacon and eggs, fresh fruit, dried fruit, pastries, breads, cereals, and the list goes on. The service from the staff was exceptional and all staff were friendly and very approachable. They also spoke very good English.
Overall, I would not hestitate in recommending this hotel to others.

Checked into the Myconian Ambassador after being up for 29 hours. Staff were courteous & friendly . Our room was light and airy with a spectacular view of the Platys Yialis beach and gourgeous balcony. Try the Thalasso spa for the healing waters in the 3 pools. Very relaxing. I would love to be able to return to this beautiful hotel!
