I have stayed at this property twice now and love everything about it. Mykonos can get a bit crazy but when you stay here that is something you don't have to worry about. I am booked to stay from July 8th-20th and I can feel the magic of Mykonos and this hotel already!

Room Tip: Rent a car and drive around the island to check out some of the other beaches!

Booked this through expedia and can honestly say I was bowled over. I have always loved visiting Greece and her islands but I can honestly say that generally hotels are not of European standard and, for this holiday we wanted spoiling not a quaint pension style holiday.
This hotel is chic and elegant without being in your face at all. From the very calm stylish interiors of the public rooms, and the fantastic pool area, to the lovely rooms. We had a deluxe room and the bed and bedding was superb. The cleanliness and general housekeeping was first class and there were unlimited lovely toiletries, absolutely no need to pack any!
The buffet breakfast is outstanding and generally the food and drink throughout the day was of great quality.
The standard of service from everyone was lovely. We had a tiny issue with the location of our room which meant we wanted to move, and this was done without any fuss. Simply cannot fault his hotel, the standard or the staff at all.
Price wise, yes it is not budget Greece but you get what you pay for. There are a wide selection of just for the tourists places to eat and an average meal for 2 at one of those will be around 60 to 65 euros.
There is a lovely chilled relaxed vibe here, we loved it.

Spent four nights at the Ambassador in May 2014, so Mykonos was busy but not at the massive crowd level seen in late summer. Overall, a lovely hotel with good facilities. The most important factor to consider in booking is the location. Platys Gialos is a ten minute taxi from Mykonos town. It is ideal if you are seeking a quiet beach away from the main hub. There are plenty of good restaurants but no night life. If you are interested in numerous trips to Little Venice for the sunset, town center bars, etc. be aware that a taxi in high season is difficult to find. There are only 30 on the island and some nights we took the bus as the more available option.
The rooms are spacious and light with beautiful sea views. Oddly, there was no plug for hair equipment in the bathroom. A kettle was provided only after an extended discussion. Pool area is lovely and the impressive breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant overlooking the pool and sea. We had a small snack in the pool area, and while the quality was good, the price was 40 euro for a small salad, appetizer, one beer and one wine. The hotel does not have a private beach but has arrangement for beach front loungers.
A thalassotherapy session is included each day, however the only time slot we were allowed to book in was 2-4 p.m. We did get one session squeezed in the day we arrived, but since the only available slots are during prime time away we did not use again. Other spa features, such as the sauna, were available with a charge.
Airport transfers were seamless. Concierge service is mixed. There is a lean toward private tours or renting a vehicle, which looks challenging on the busy and narrow roads. I inquired a number of times about getting tours set in advance, each time with the response that they would take care of it when we arrived. The tour we particularly wanted was no longer available. We booked a south beach cruise (recommended) and reception suggested we rent a car or take the bus to Ornos for the tour. We checked and a transfer was available and a much easier option. Restaurant recommendations were mixed. I would expect reception at this level of hotel to be more on top of these types of details.

Room Tip: Upper floor. Our second floor room bordered the side road, so we could not leave the balcony door o...

From receiving us at the airport to showing us around the hotel, from breakfast to the turn down service at night everything about our stay was outstanding. The staff were amazing and pre empted all of our needs. Before we had a chance to request towels they had already arrived. The pool service was amazing with ice teas and lollies being brought to us. The staff were always present and always smiling and happy to help. It was so nice to be taken care of with such enthusiasm. The beach was a few minutes walk where hotel guests have reserved deck chairs and we also received a free spa. To top it all my sister received a cake on the morning of her birthday at breakfast and we had not even requested it. Cannot recommend this place enough!

My husband and Teenage daughter (19 years) booked directly with the hotel, 7 nights in a Executive Suite, Sea View with Private Jacuzzi.
Check in - I hate queuing and waiting and always dread this initial hurdle of any hotel stay. At the Myconion there is no such thing. The check in experience is simply different, seamless and inspiring. Here we met Virgina, who is a credit to this business her calmness is infectious and her knowledge of Mykonos and it's experiences are priceless. Virgina looked after our reservations and bookings during our week on the island.
We were shown around the hotel and introduced to the bar while waiting for our room to be ready. It was here we met George, the restaurant and bar mgr. With a complementary glass of prosecco, it was immediately evident George's hospitality skills would rival any other leading hotel in the world. (Your hotel and guests are indebted to you.)
Our room - White, tranquil, comfortable and private with views to die for !! It is here I have to mention Nikos (The bell Boy) who happily rescued us late one night from a grecian spider !!
Like most we set our room out and headed straight to the pool, iced drinks, face towels and iced lollies all complementary and a refreshening surprise!
The spa and treatments are bliss.
We made breakfast twice in the week and the smoked salmon omelettes are great. (Available to order and not part of the buffet )
We ate in the hotel on our last night and the quality of flavours is simply an experience worth having. A few people have complained of the price. I say value for money ! Make sure you ask for Danny his recommendations for food with wine to complement is part of the experience.
We made our way back to the hotel bar most nights for one of Alexia's cocktails - A mixologist with flare, not to mention amazing company.
This hotel is exemplary when it comes to service, quality and experience. We will be back next year. I cannot wait :)

We were scheduled to stay in Mykonos for 2 nights as part of our island hopping honeymoon, but due to a cancelled ferry from Milos, we were only able to stay 1 night. However that 1 night that we spent at Myconian Ambassador simply exceeded all expectations. This is by far one of the loveliest properties we have ever stayed at and the staff were so kind and amazing. We flew into Mykonos early in the morning, anticipating that we would have to wait until early afternoon to check in, however upon arrival we were told that our room was ready and even invited to have breakfast when we were settled. We were upgraded to a BEAUTIFUL room which was wonderfully appointed with an absolutely gorgeous view and were given vouchers to enjoy the Thalasso Therapy spa in the hotel (also an AMAZING experience and a must do). The location is excellent and we were within walking distance to nearby Platys Gialos Beach. The reception assisted us in renting a car to explore the island. Veronica during breakfast would go around and greet the guests and give recommendations on what to do/see. Mike was also very lovely and helped us give advise on where to find the best Souvlaki (our favorite!). The buffet breakfast the hotel offers is delicious with such a wide variety of Greek and Western goodies. We had the best experience in Mykonos and Myconian Ambassador. Our only regret is that it was much too short and we wished we could've stayed longer. If ever we get an opportunity to visit Mykonos again in the future, we will definitely be staying here!

Room Tip: Room 106 in the corner has an amazing view!
