Spent 3 days and 2 nights in this hotel. Their staff is the backbone of this hotel. They are extremely helpful, polite, cheerful and super helpful. Konstantinos, the concierge went out of his way to help us with everything we needed to know about the city. He even recommended great places to eat.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, with a balcony with a great view. They have a nice pool witha great view. Breakfast near the poolside at the hotel is a wide spread. The only downside to the hotel is that the center of the town is not very close and one needs a taxi to get there.

Room Tip: All rooms have a great view. Though the wifi in the rooms is not that great

Stayed for a week and had a wonderful time . The hotel is just lovely , our room was a good size with a sea view and a fairly large balcony . Usual minibar and safe in room , huge bed with fresh towels everyday and a turn back service of a night .Pool area looked as if it had come straight out of the pages of Tatler magazine ......very upmarket boutique look . Breakfast was help yourself and was a nice relaxing affair, with everything you could wish for except maybe freshly made omelettes as my husband stated !! Staff charming and always on hand with tea and coffee at the ready . We didn't eat lunch or dinner but heard off other guests that it was very good. Went in the Spa pools which was a nice experience and again the staff very professional . Overall a fab hotel and would recommend it . Staff all polite ,charming and professional. A special mention to doorman Costas who lit up the beginning of each day with a big smile .!!!

Having stayed/eaten at many Relais & Chateau hotels/restaurants around the world our expectations were high so let me take you through our experience:

Airport pickup- very good-friendly driver explained about the island on the way to the hotel.

Arrival- Lovely friendly staff waiting for us, sat down with a welcome fruit juice-easily completed formalities. We were on a special summer deal which meant we should have got an upgrade from the 'Double room/balcony/sea view we had booked-however we were told that we had been upgraded to a Double room/balcony/sea view room!! Surely we should have had an upgrade to a superior room? We were taken to our room by a very pleasant member of staff(Maria) who explained all the facilties on the way.

The room- Very bright in Myconian colours(white/blue), large bed and nice balcony overlooking the sea. Bathroom a little small but with a good range of toiletries etc.

The Spa- Again friendly staff and a nice ambiance-however the flow through the 3 thalasso pools could be managed better so not to have a backlog of customers

Breakfast- Here was the complete failing point of the Hotel. After being seated (again by the hard working Maria) we were continually ignored as to the offer of fresh juice and coffee/teas- not just as a one off but for every morning during our stay. Each morning we had to continually ask for re-fills etc. The staff (especially the two surly waitresses) seemed fixated on clearing away empty tables and not concentrating on their guests requirements( is there enough crockery in the hotel?).The buffet itself was adequate-but the hot offer just was not up to standard. Why (as in other Relais & Chateau hotels) was there not a fresh egg station where a chef can cook all manner of eggs to order while you wait, instead of trays of hard dried fried eggs and omelettes? This needs serious improvement.

The Pool - Very nice, well located overlooking the sea with comfortable sunbeds and a nice ambiance.

Departure- Just one question really- why have 4 members of staff at reception when checking out but only 1 can only actually check you out/settle your bill. The other 3 just stood around smiling and looked embarassed that they could not help the guests that were waiting. Mr Costas the concierge was very helpful and friendly and offered good advice on local eateries.

The Myconian Ambassador is a lovely peaceful hotel with mostly friendly staff in a beautiful location overlooking the beach- it just needs a few tweaks in staff management and breakfast offer.

The hotel is a tale of two halves. Public space great. Bedrooms need an upgrade. First time in Mykonos and very charming. Preferred it to Santorini. Weather disappointing so hotel important. Thalasotherapy in spa fantastic. Other treatments average and spoilt by noise from pools. Staff at hotel very good. Pool and restaurants areas very nice. Bedrooms very dated. Hire a a or ake a taxi into mykonnos town. Nammos resturant and Kiki worth a trip.

We stayed at the ambassador for one night after our hotel was undergoing renovations. We loved the hotel. The roomswere a bit crampedbut the patio and hot tub outside made up for it. Service was amazing as was the breakfastbuffet! Definitely recommend to anyone in Mykonos.

Their staff is the backbone of this hotel. They are extremely polite, cheerful and ever ready to help. Konstantinos, the concierge was outstanding and very gracious. He helped us get taxis, organise tours, get ticket print outs - nothing we asked for was ignored. Even bellboy Kostos was so cheerful, we wondered if the staff get paid on their cheerfulness quotient!! The hotel itself is very clean, done up in the Mykonian white and blue hues. The lobby was impressive, the room spacious, with a balcony. The bathroom was tiny though. Complimentary cookies, wine and a massage voucher greeted us very warmly on Arrival. The balcony had a view of the sea and the beach. Breakfast at the hotel is a wide spread in the restaurant which overlooks the pool. Their spa is supposed to be good but we did not have time to try it out. The beach is close by. The only downside to the hotel is its distance from the town centre. A taxi is needed to reach it. Otherwise, a great place to stay.
