A very pleasant at Nissaki. Friendly, welcoming Staff at the front desk, restaurant, pool bar and room service.
The Hotel has lovely views over the nearby beaches and it is at an excellent location to get to Mykonos Town by bus and by boat ferry to other beaches. We liked Elia beach in particular and you can take the bus back from this beach to Mykonos Town and Platys Gialos where the Nissaki is located
There are a few restaurants a few metres away from the Hotel. We liked Avli tou Thodori, friendly and good food. We found prices in Mykonos and Santorini quite expensive.
We arrived at Mykonos in the ferry from Santorini. My advice is to travel light with one suitcase and a shoulder bag or a ruck sac only because it is chaotic and you have to carry your own things.
Nissaki provides transportation from the Port to the Hotel or to the Airport which is a big plus.
We would come back to this lovely Hotel and the beautiful Platys Gialos area.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room

Our stay at Nissaki was amazing; everything about this hotel is great.

All the staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. You are always greeted with a big warm smile and asked if you need anything. We really felt like we were saying goodbye to our friends when we were leaving. So special thanks to Vasiliki, Vicky, Napoleon, Eva, and Michaela for making our stay extra special.

The location of the hotel is very convenient near the bus stop station where you will take a bus to Town for 1.6euro in 10minutes. And it is within 5 minutes’ walk to Platis Gialos beach and Psarou beach. It has amazing views overlooking Psarou Beach and with open sea view and the gorgeous yachts.

The room we stayed in (Honeymoon Suite) is luxurious and romantic, very clean and spacious with all required amenities and an extra shower Jacuzzi; clean towels are provided twice daily.

The Hotel provides a free shuttle bus to / from airport and the port anytime during the day.

The breakfast buffet had lots of options: cold, hot, desserts and fruits and everything you taste is delicious.

Really a wonderful place to stay, highly recommended and worth every penny.

overall experience and quality of service was second to none - all staff made you feel like home and went out of their way to supply added services on request - always a plus when travelling in a foreign country. The hotel was positioned on a bay overlooking one of Mediterranean most glamorous beaches with ultimate views and 2 beaches to choose from within 5 mins walk.

I highly recommend this hotel or one of their companions along the same strip. All the staff are more than willing to accommodate extra needs just ask !

Room Tip: Go for the the executive double - only way !

We recently spent three nights at the Nissaki Hotel as part of a trip around the Cyclades and enjoyed our time there very much. As other reviewers have previously observed, the staff make this hotel very special and the levels of service are excellent. Food is well-prepared with lots of choice and overall the hotel is well-located, clean, bright and modern.

However, our check-in experience was a little disappointing, as we were informed that the two-bedroomed "Executive Suite" we had booked and paid for months in advance would not be available for our first night (due to circumstances beyond the hotel's control, which we understood and sympathised with) and that we would have to change rooms the following day. Needless to say, after a long, hot journey we felt quite deflated by this news and living out of a suitcase for the fist night was not a particularly relaxing start to our (short) stay!

After talking to the manageress, we discovered that the hotel is in the process of turning two of its one-roomed junior suites into "Executive Suites" (by placing extra beds in them) but they have yet to update their website to reflect this (and are still marketing this room type as having two separate bedrooms.) She was very sympathetic and compensated us for the inconvenience and we moved into the 2-bedroomed suite the following morning. It was absolutely amazing, with a huge terrace (complete with private Jacuzzi) two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a kitchen/dining room and although the price is apparently the same as the room we stayed in on our first night, they are in fact, worlds apart...

Therefore, I'd suggest that if you've booked an "Executive Suite" because you (like us) prefer to have two separate bedrooms when travelling with your children, it would probably be prudent to email the hotel well in advance to specifically request this.

A special thanks must go to the staff who found my son's sunglasses and hat and kindly sent them to our next hotel in Santorini.. it really is the people who work here that make the place so special.

Room Tip: The executive suite with outside Jacuzzi was stunning and excellent value for money when compared to...

Just loved this hotel. It made me want to stay even longer on the island of Mykonos....this hotel made Mykonos shine! It has great rooms with all the amenities that you require (including a shower jucuzzi), ocean views, great pool area where you can also dine while having your fabulous buffet breakfast which is provided for. It has a complimentary transfer service on your arrival & depature regardless whether its from the port or the airport. Very friendly & helpful staff while attended to your personal needs. Its location is for one who enjoys great beach time where you have 2 beaches to choose from that are only a couple of minutes walk, while you have the convenience of a bus stop outside the hotel to get you to Mykonos town in 10min. I just can't wait to go back to Mykonos to stay at this hotel.

The staff really make this hotel a great place to stay, they are very accommadating to all requests. The hotel is beautiful and quiet with great views of all the beautiful boats parked up in Platys Gialos bay. Breakfast was great and the pool is great for an afternoon dip after a walk through the old town. Thanks Hotel Nissaki for a great stay, Peter and Alexis.
