We spent most days on the Platis Gialos Beach. It was steps away from our hotel. Each restaurant on the beach has its own sun-loungers and umbrellas with waiters serving you. The beach caters to families as well as singles and has a lovely vibe. Jetskis are available to rent and the water is very safe to swim (but cold!).

A few tavernas, early season so not everything open, ones that were open served good food. Clean beach, lots of sunbeds, would be good in busy season when more going on,.

Nice to visit but rather busy and the small beach was crammed with sun loungers. Enjoyed a beer overlooking the sea and people watching! Well worth a visit.

Nice and sandy with organized restaurants providing service on the beach. Possible to get a boat to nearby beaches too.

Due to the time of year (before peak season) most of the 'party beaches' didn't have much of a crowd during our stay but persisted with blasting dance music. The scene at this beach was very different, people of all ages lined the sunbeds along the beach front creating a lively yet relaxing vibe.
We found the time of year perfect as all of the cafes and restaurants are open but they do not charge for sunbed use so you can have a few drinks at each place or find a favourite like we did (Atlantis) and enjoy cocktails and snacks whilst lounging in the sun.
The view is spectacular, the water is clean - it looks beautiful with different shades of blue and green.
The beach is of postcard quality and offers the perfect holiday experience - don't go to Mykonos without giving this beach a try!
