Our family including out three children we're put at serious risk and despite refusing to board we were forced on. Our children 5 and 2 teenagers almost had serious head injuries as the 'friend' of the captain who was doing him a favour tried to get us to board the vessel out in choppy seas. The captain, crew and 'friend' poorly communicated to each other and the little speed boat overloaded with 9 people, and with no safety gear was being flooded as waves crashed over us. My children were petrified and the driver of the Tender decided to speed away around to another cove where as a result of his speed meant that we were almost washed out of the boat. The vessel later caught up and we boarded. The captain said that he could not discount or refund our money and that if we don't pay he was going to leave my family on some beach and make our own way back (across the island) to our hotel, despite forcing us to board with their hazardous method - bizarre! 2 witnesses decided to leave and others consoled us as they witnessed what was almost a major and tragic incident. I'm an experienced boatie with over 35 years experience on the water and I know in most places this vessel would not be allowed to work in this fashion. My advice - forget this tour!!
